Saturday, 3/28/2015 - My 1st Hour-Long Feature Presentation! Such a historic adventure is deserving of historic increase in length. How can you fit Bird Debris, Sunrise, Delta Splits, Successful Police Encounter, 2 Go-Arounds, Aborted Takeoff, Up Close & Personal w/Prisoners, Finding Hawkery's Nest AND THE RETURN OF DELTA'S 747 in less than an hour!!!???
And so it was written that the first time I demanded an hour of your time is today. So succumb to my demands. Sit Back, Relax & Do Etc. . .

gimp6019 Oh buddy you know seeing that Delta 747 after all these months was the bees knees. Glad you mentioned early AM/sunrise. It's my absolutely positively favorite time to be out there. I've often wondered why I find the sunrise vastly superior to sunset. I suppose it's the increasing light that makes the difference. Thanks man!

Nice! A pre-dawn heavy arrival! Looked cool when you achieved the front-littery. And then a turn-and-burn. I see a trend developing. Awesome sunrise. 764. 748. A380. You sure cater to pretty much everyone in the installment. The green grass makes it look like ORD- or LAX, since Speedbird HD does a good job tending to it. With the large % of widebodies here this is a makeshift heavy jet saturday. You really, really need to publish a blooper video. 777 engine noise is music to my ears. I would kill to have a sky that blue. I get mostly sandy cloudy days. Haha, roll credits. Hats off to the 3 part grand finale. The 747 sure looked pretty cool climbing away in the backlittery.

Will F Thanks Will! Unfortunately this one doesn't qualify as a true bird strike since I didn't capture it on video. Just heard ATC referring to it. So while it was super cool, it is nowhere near as cool as it will be when I bear witness to one myself. Unfortunately it's REALLY hard for me to switch out nicknames once I've come up with one. I'm a creature of habit & thrive on ritual. So now that Sidestick Monster Machine is out there, it's pretty much out there. Kinda like a tattoo. Sure you can have it removed, but it would be extraordinarily painful. Thanks bud!

I have a couple of questions. What is the difference between the MD-80s and the MD-90s? Also, isn't the Boeing 717 pretty much the same plane as the DC-9? Anybody seen the awesome film "Cast Away" with Tom Hanks? Wasn't that a FedEx DC-10 they used? If you haven't seen the movie, it is EXCELLENT!!

Good 1 hour presentation Matt!! The best part was the Delta 747 coming back! Did you happen to hear that Virgin now flies to Manchester from Atlanta now? Are go-arounds your favorite part of spotting? Me, not so much. I prefer takeoffs and landings. I bet prisoners don't get any food on their prison transport flight. If they did, they would try to get up and takeover the cockpit to crash the plane. I'm guessing Hawkery is always in one of your videos?

Southwest737-BWI PlaneSpotting Thank you sir! I was hesitant to take it to the hour mark but given all of the monumental events I had no choice. And speaking of monumental - just wait until you see the next video. Triple Virgin baby. Oh yes we get one from Manchester now. And we also get 2 from London. Of course this also includes the return of the Delta 747 which I couldn't be more thrilled about. I wouldn't say go-arounds are my favorite part of spotting. But they definitely excite the hell out of me. Once again, just wait until the next video & you'll see how marvelous they can be. My favorite part of spotting is actually the overall environment - weather conditions, seasons, sunrises etc. I LOVE the backdrop. Thanks again!

Regarding the United that you say we might assume is going to either Houston or Newark. Perhaps another possibility was Chicago? Maybe you were just thinking of the old Continental hubs of Newark and Houston, but United hubs cannot be forgotten, hence I suggest Chicago. I could be wrong, let me know.

Matt Cochran I bet editing these is a b****, and rendering and uploading them in 1080p isn't much better probably. I just can't see how some people do it AND put special effects/ actual video editing into them. I have another channel unrelated to Aviation that is restricted to 15 minutes and some of my videos can be double that, so that's really annoying having to cut them up. I can appreciate the work done off camera, also of course including your constant movement and reconnaissance while at the airport. I love going and watching videos made by other people that do similar things to my other channel, but put absolutely no effort into the video.

Nope. Delta used to operate 16 747s but they retired three at the end of 2014 leaving 13 of them left in the fleet.
