Here is a summer plane spotting video at BWI filmed on a friday from sunrise to sunset at the Thomas A. Dixon Jr. Aircraft Observation Area on Runway 33L. I really enjoyed my spotting experience from this awesome location, even if I had a pretty cloudy/rainy day without any sun. What is your favorite plane in this video? I’m surprised Maryland has continued to subsidize that British Airways route. I guess they figure it’s the only prestige route still operating out of BWI.

The route is kind of a necessity for people living in Maryland as that direct flight to LHR (and Condor's seasonal direct flight to FRA) are essential for travelling to Europe without using a large number of connections. Losing either of these routes would be devastating and the cost is worth it.

Contour/Thomas Cook is my favorite. I don't think I've ever before seen British Airways at BWI, and BWI is my home airport! Thanks for the lovely sunset and all the fine aircrafts

Ah, your spotting from the Thomas A Dixon park. I love that place. Rare to get any big planes into BWI because they are such a heavy domestic hub with over 24 million passengers annual, they actually do more business than Dulles and Reagan.

Interesting informations! In the summer week days, BWI still gets a few daily heavies with cargos, military charters and a few weekly British and Condor :) This Park is such a great place for spotting!

Thanks for showing love to BW. Not many plane spotting vids from there. Lots of Southwest jets in Baltimore as in most places in the US. Nice low light conditions add pop and clarity to liveries on the jets. Nice presentation.

Love the DHL! I don't think I've ever seen a spotting video from Baltimore. Mostly domestic flights as I suspected, but the Thomas Cook A330 was a cool catch. As well, the ATI 757 sounds great :)

The Observation park is the best! All you need is 300mm and your set for BWI too

This is excellent filming! You should also check out PHL, there's British Airways 747-400 and 777-200ER, Lufthansa 747-400 or A340-600, Qatar 777-300ER or A350-900, Aer Lingus and Icelandair 757-200 and plenty of AA widebody and narrowbody operate there! Also plenty of FedEx/UPS classics like the A310, DC-10 and MD-11 there too👍

No BA 777 anymore. The BA 777/787 combo got replaced by a BA744 and an additional AA333

Thanks for watching! The only big luck I had was the Atlas B763 military charter but otherwise, except a few privates, it was all friday regulars. This is why I went there on a friday, the coolest day of the week in BWI.

YQBspotting Actually I was there a while back ( I believe last October when the F 15’s did a training exercise) but that’s the only real exciting thing. Dulles tends to offer much more variety but I don’t have a good spot there.

Its a pax B763 :) It was a military charter flight from an AFB located in Norfolk.
