This is so amazing. You could still see such a wide variety of aircraft, sizes, shapes, etc. Now aviation is so boring. They all pretty much look the same! wing mounted twin engined aircraft

Nice seeing a few Delta Air Lines with the colorful colors and the widget logo on the tail which still looks better then the USAir colors with the silver bare metal scheme vs the darker colors but the maroon colors looked even better & American Airlines bare metal scheme.

Well nowadays you only see 737 a320s a220s,erj/ e-jets, and bombardiers. I miss seeing the saab 340s ,md80/90, the dc-9, boeing 757 767s and the dash 8s

landing the L1011 at LGA was always an "interesting" experience!!

I know LGA's runway is longer, but it seems the margin for error is smaller than that of LCY. I don't think I've ever seen aircraft decelerate this fast anywhere. When I was approaching LCY in a car (Feb. 2009), the aircraft on final approach looked like vultures, the way they seemed to hang in the air, with a downward incline that was severe when compared with other airports. Landing at LCY in a BA 146 was absolutely a controlled crash. BAM! It was like the runway said, "Allright! Yes! I KNOW you're here already!"

Airports are so dam bore now, im getting tired of the same twin engine design B737, b767, b777, b787, a320, a330, a350, c'mon I really miss dc10, l1011, b727, dc8, il 96, tu 154, nowadays even the b747 is getting retired :(

I’ve seen his plane sitting on/around the runway before. I thought it was the coolest plane there due to seeing videos from inside. Can’t remember if was the president yet. Don’t believe he was. Pretty sure he had an airline business so that could’ve been one in the video.

@@Dan-zs4rkThat was his personal 727, that he later traded for a 757 before his presidential run. He did have an airline, but it was only around for about 5 minutes in the late 80s or early 90s.
