Great advice Christine! Thank you 🙏🏻 I usually use the plane cushions to support my lumbar but will invest in a Pilates ball instead - wasn’t aware one could simply inflate by blowing up ! Flying out in two weeks- your clip is very timely indeed 🚀🙏🏻🪻🌻🪻

Glad for this! I'm soon taking 5 flights to get to my mom in the US from here in Norway. It's hard on the back. I find arm stretching exercises in my seat help, stretching and bending, changing back positions.

Great tips! I also find that my hips/back are relieved more if I place my feet on something so that my knees are even or slightly higher than my hips. Otherwise it pulls on my back. I even use my carry on that fits under the seat when we're not landing or taking off

Is there a best position to try and sleep on planes? I see sometimes these massive triangles that people put on the tray and lean forward, but not sure if that would be ideal for a scoliosis.

I learned my lesson. It was a short two hour flight. The seats barely had cushion. I got up mid flight to stretch what I could. Next time I’m taking my lumbar and bottom pillows. Can you recommend shoes?

Oh that’s a good question!! If you’re planning to lean against the window I would have any major curve facing away from the window side! It all depends on your scoliosis pattern and what your habits are.

How can you inflate the Pilates ball? As far as I know it has no spout to blow...🤔

It comes with a straw that you use to blow into but I just blow it up like a balloon ☺️
