Planespotting HIGHLIGHTS Stuttgart: Military & Cargo Operations

Dear friends,
over the past few years a lot of interesting military traffic & cargo flights passed through Stuttgart Airport! Highlight was the Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III visiting the Air Base at Stuttgart Airport!
During Covid, British Airways flew from London to Stuttgart with their 787´s. Transporting cargo, the BA heavies have been a regular visitor in the past years. This airport really offers great spots and great opportunities for filming. If you are able to, you should definitely check out this wonderful airport!

It still amazes me how big the C-5 is. I remember driving on one of the highways in Westover Mass and checking my rearview mirror to see that monster flying behind me and then passing over me. Still gives me chills to this day.
