Accelerator is a Gerstlauer launch coaster I made as a Party in the Park blueprint submission. Mostly inspired by coasters like Anubis: The Ride, Karacho, Takabisha and the Smiler but with a compact sci-fi and launch tunnel twist, it's a pretty experimental Eurofighter-but-supposed-launch-coaster.

Probably my favourite design from you. It's not the most impressive in your arsenal, but you usually tend to build very realistic buildings. This sci-fi theme is something we haven't seen from you before. It's nice to see some artistic range once in a while. I'd love to see a park with a similar theme, that isn't inspired by different countries.

Silvarret, The building you are talking about under the second launch at around 19:15 is called a PLC (Programmable Logical Controller) It's the main thing for any type of ride. Basically what would be called, the rides brain.

To all the comments on the smaller scale of his coasters, keep in mind that in Europe coasters tend to be smaller, better themed, and more original then their American counterparts, and I would imagine he is more inspired by the coasters and amusement parks he has visited rather then our Cedar Points and Six Flags. This is coming from someone who specializes in monster rides and struggles with smaller ones.

This, and this ride is a Eurofighter too - with two launches and its track length it's already pushing how much Eurofighters do, usually they're very generic, standard, short coasters with a few inverting elements and some curves. Coasters IRL tend to be a lot slower, smaller, and shorter than people often think they are!

Brian Hopkins True, though even so, outside of the major attractions in parks, I don't think the average coaster in the US is much bigger than in Europe. Scenery is definitely the biggest gripe for me, yeah - when you want to keep things realistic you have to choose between a well themed small coaster or a huge sprawling behemoth over a parking lot or through a forest. I'm just more of a fan of the first option! :)

Silvarret Hey I managed to send Arcadia Rising over more then a parking lot lol. But yes realisticly the only epic theming on large coasters is at Islands of Adventure or some Chinese parks. Though a nice compromise can be find at Busch Gardens.

Beautiful. I'd love to see you try more of these really modern themes. Perhaps before they actually add a "sci-fi" theme, it might be quite interesting to attempt some sort of ultra futuristic, extra planetary park? Like something you might find on the moon or mars in the future, confined to a massive dome habitat... which, thinking about it, would require some "out of the box" (no pun :p) thinking to design a park that uses the allowed "space" (more pun) to the maximum. Keep up the amazing work. Game on.

Hi Silv! I really enjoy when you make stuff that has a part limit like this and Logwood Run, because us mere mortals with average computers can emulate it in our parks without killing our computers. Please can you do some more of this stuff? Maybe you could do a self-imposed challenge where you try to make a great looking park with a low poly count.

It has to be night for that to work currently. Light glitches through if you're above the surface, and below there's a progressive dimming to a certain point where it's then pitch black.

Hey silv:) awesome coaster too. I love the exterior on the building! Looks fantastic. But like some other people are saying, and not to criticize here, but you do have to speed up the coasters a little. I mean, I have road real life coasters a lot and they go a bit faster then your coasters. Multi fav coaster is in Darian Lake in new York. The coaster is called the ride of steel and has one of the highest drops in the country (if not THE highest)

The Aquanaut The highest in the Us is also the highest in the world at 456ft. Kingda Ka. Man of steel however barely gets over 200ft. Nothing to shake a stick at, but nowhere near the tallest in the country.

It's actually a bit faster than in the video, which was recorded before I turned up the launch speed a little bit for the blueprint. I'll agree though that the video version is a bit too slow, I was trying to find a sweet spot between hangtime on the inversions and airtime on the hills, but it definitely works better faster. The again - though I don't want to blame the game - the friction is still too high too, given the height of the first elements the rest should've ridden a bit faster IMO.

Silvarret I love this coaster but actually like the song at the end even better please tell me the name of it I've littered spent 3 hours since watching this video trying to find the song on Shazam and every other music site, I went to epidemic sound but couldn't find it. It would be cool to set the lights at the launch area to be triggered when the train went through, you could make it look slower by moving the lights faster then then train or make the coaster look faster by moving the lights slower then the coaster.

The speed isn't that bad, it's the friction that makes it slow. The friction is way too high (he can't do anything about that). Hopefully Frontier will solve that :D
