In this series, i'll be recreating Demon from Six Flags Great America. I'm attempting to recreate it to as close scale as possible. Beyondyou89 some seem to be decent but the majority are a gimmick to (attempt to) give an old or disliked coaster some new life.

I went on this ride first in 2012 when I was 6 years old and loved it! Still like it but it rattles my head

I started playing RC Tycoon again. Demon was my first big coaster too when I was a little girl. Thanks for posting this!

I remember this being the third rollercoaster I ever rode, after spacley's sprocket rockets and the whizzer. I still enjoy this ride quite a bit, but definitely make sure to brace yourself during the corkscrew.

I just always realize how little I know about rollercoasters! This looks cool though, looks like you went through A LOT of work with the supports, I don't know if I have the patience for that haha, but it looks great I have to say! :) Looking forward to more of this, and new Coal Creek coming up too, sweet! :) Oh and yes, nobody needs VR on a coaster, we have screens in front of our faces often enough! ;)

My favorite roller coaster in that park is Spacely's Sprocket Rockets. Can you please try to recreate that coaster?

Awesome recreation so far! My first ride on the Demon was when I was 10 years old, and it was my first coaster with inversions as well. I think within the past couple of years the ride has been running a lot smoother, which I've been extremely happy about. Also, the VR thing was something they tried out for one season only, and I don't think there are any plans for it to return.

Lol this layout is just like the one at CALIFORNIA's Great America... Same name even.. idk if that's just a coincidence or if there was a mistake, but just saying.

Both rides were built at the same time in 1976 as Turn of the Century and both rethemed to the Demon in 1980. They are sister coasters :)

The parks used to be sister parks, which is why they shared some rides like the whizzed and the turn of the century (now the demon).

It's the same ride. Back when it opened there were two Great Americas and they were both exactly the same. Over time a lot happened to both Great Americas but the only two similarities are the entrance and the demon. I could put in a lot more details but I don't really want to.

Not a lot of theme but some. The park that this Coaster is in doesn’t have a huge budget for themed coasters like Disney or Universal

Beyondyou89 The only only themed coasters are X-flight (lot of theme) Goliath (kinda theme) Batman (a lot of theme)
