Love your build style, this zoo is awesome! Here’s a couple things that might help management: - There’s a security heatmap, it’ll show you what areas are covered by security cameras. Heat maps are pretty useful in general, there’s also one that flags inbreeding risks. - As your vet researches a species, you get education bonuses for it. That’ll be partly why the exhibit species and the newer habitat species weren’t educating as much. - It seems like enrichment requirements also depend on the number of animals - sometimes multiples of the same item is just as good if you have a lot of animals. - The Staff Facilities mechanic research isn’t just blueprints - it unlocks facilities with more capacity, which can be really helpful as your zoo grows. - Even if you assign a mechanic or a vet to research, they will still prioritise looking after animals, habitats etc. over doing research. I think you’d need to assign them to a work zone with only their research building (and a staff room) if you want them to hyperfocus. - Idk if it’s much better but I tend to go for staffroom healthcare, which makes them more resilient to overwork. My staff are usually exhausted before their happiness is a problem.

I think we should have had pygmy goats instead of alpine, and the alpaca instead of the sheep rather than as well. There should have been ducks. I would have loved rabbits!! Even a walkthrough of bunnies and guineapigs would have been good. I love pigs and the Tamworth is nice but kunekunes may have made more sense for a petting zoo? Still, although I didn't specially want a barnyard pack it looks good and I'm excited to have it now! Relieved they've confirmed it's not the last pack.

I find all animal look alike reskin, so I care about if I can build nice park, love this pack !

Honestly love this pack. Some of the breeds I would like others, switched out. But its something that the community has been asking for since before early access, it may not have been everyone, but enough people that Frontier sunk the man hours into it. Per usual, the forum is salty, but I agree, this does not give last pack vibes in the slightest

I'm sorry but i cannot be happy or excited for this pack, and maybe it will be the first pack that i would not buy... But it's good to see some people who don't agree with me and are excited for that.

I'm actually excited for the Highland cattle, sheep and Chicken!

Anytime I would see suggestions for a petting zoo pack I thought “I wouldn’t want that” then the pack released and I was surprised to find myself very excited to see it come to the game. I understand why many people are not looking forward to it but I for one am excited. I really like this new mash up of animal pack and scenery pack. I’d be happy if these types of packs were the norm going forward.

Love the way you do your scenery! Is there anything that stops unnecessary obstruction you have toggled? And do you use modded scenery and rock formations because these look epic! I've been having post planet zoo brainfreeze so.. lol

Super excited to see my love the highland cow especially the calf’s , I am a little surprised that a pony or horse was not picked compared to say a donkey but a neat pack none the less

When I get this pack, I might not use the chickens, pigs, and sheep but I may go by what barnyard animals my local zoos have. Like I may do llamas, alpacas, donkeys, highland cattle and goats.

Im not really sure who came up with the this is the last pack thing but it makes no sense to me. They could easily, on a limited dev team make DLC for this for 2 more years. So many things that are cornerstones at zoos still missing and they are the perfect excuse to continue milking the game. I am not using milking in a negative way here. The game was obviously successful enough to one day make a sequel but I believe that the tech hasnt come far enough a long to warrant them working on that at this point and it would also probably upset a lot of people currently. If DLCs werent making money they would have stopped producing them by now so I think they probably keep going. As far as mods breaking on updates Im just gonna say as I always do a developer update breaking your mods is not their concern or responsibility.

I L-O-V-E your Zoo and especially how lush everything looks! So gorgeous!!! Just a little hint: I noticed when you "upgraded" your staff you clicked them individually. However, when you click on the top left box to click, you can select every staff member. Also when you just want to upgrade one group of staff (for example the caretakers) you can select the box to click next to the headline of the category. At the bottom, there will be shown the selected staff. You can then upgrade them, give them a bigger payment, select a work zone for them or fire them. It is just so much faster. Hope this helps and I didn´t explain things everybody knows hahaha. Lots of love :)

Fun episode. Just a hint I've found, It helps to place the food and drink shops further back from the paths to allow queue space. Otherwise shops that have a high demand cause path obstructions. I think you'll find that that tunnel will be completely blocked by people queueing for the shops. Also, the tables for the restaurant weren't linked, so they won't work well.

Nice to see a zoo focused episode, can’t wait to see the elephants added just be careful as they can either make or break a zoo with how much it costs to feed them . Also since this is a South American zoo it would be cool to see a little flower garden for some blue morpho butterflies to have some conservation of more native species

Think about webcams, it increases the marketing value enormously.

As a southerner, it always tickles me when someone builds an area based on the south. As you expand, may I suggest a few animals: whitetail deer, mule deer, and/of marsh deer, which were an important food source for Natives and colonists as they expanded. North American river otters, beavers, badgers, and wolverines were huge for the fur trade, and the black bear and cougars were commonly found in the east and south, including Florida. Red wolves too. Also I believe there’s mods for sand hill and whooping cranes, which would be a good replacement for the red crowned crane. They migrate to the south to nest.

I think everyone playing planet zoo or ever having played planet zoo, wants the aquatic DLC, as well as birds 😂. Plenty of zoo's in real life have these beautiful walkthrough aquarium exhibits. Really missing the underwater life in this game!! Anyway, stunning builds!
