8:17 Hi Mona and Drew! I've watched your videos several times and love how super informative they are! PH is hosting our wedding next weekend and our guests are all staying on the adult side...but they are asking questions about our 2 exclusive restaurant options here. In this video, you mentioned having another video with an in-depth look at Braza and Catch, but I'm unable to find this other video on your channel. @WherewegoingNext Ah! That would explain it! LOL I suppose the biggest question is about the quality of these 2 restaurants vs. the family side options. And, assuming they are better, does this impact the wait times and/or make reservations a requirement? I think that covers it. And thank you for your quick reply!

I would say the quality is similar between the adult and family side. We only had breakfast and lunch at Catch (good but small portions so specify how many sausages you want for example) and dinner at Braza (decent food, slower service). Overall, we found the food and service to be a bit lacking at this resort- but maybe it was just our experience 🤷🏼‍♀️ you should still be able to find something good to eat tho! Yes we do recommend making reservations in advance, bc the specialty restaurants do book up fast!

thank you for this video! My family is going in December !!! one question how far is the walk to the family side from the adult scene? I have my mom coming and distance is a slight concern.

I would say a 5-10 minute walk max.

Just have a question, if I purchased an adult only all inclusive package, could I also enjoy the restaurants and the bars and the water activities you recorded in the main resort - Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Cancun for free?

We stayed here last month and enjoyed out stay other than not a lot of entertainment on the adult side. We are thinking about Barcelo Mya Riviera and we watched your other video and it looks really nice and hoping you can you tell us which one you liked better and why. Thanks.

Definitely the Barcelo - better rooms, service, food, etc. there’s isn’t much entertainment at the Barcelo Maya Riviera either, but you have access to the other Barcelos where you’ll find lots to do 👍🏻

It can be busy in some spots, but not bad. It’s definitely a shorter drive to Costa Mujeres than to the Mayan Riviera.

I’ve read several reviews about water issues (no cold water, brown water from taps). Did you have any issues?

Yes, there was some brown water coming out of the tap in the washroom we rarely used - but it cleared up as we kept the water running

Does this resort have a day pass? And if so how much. Plan on coming down in the summer but we rented a house. I would love to visit this resort if i could

Sorry not sure about that 🤷🏼‍♀️ my best advice would be to email the hotel 👍🏻 most resorts do have day passes but it’s best to make sure

I cant stand classes at hotels its so snobby, I usually purchase it only because its adults only but i find it stupid and makes people feel in different classes.

hey andrew great insight just book for september 27 question i just came across about no smoking law in mexico which i had no clue what so ever question have you seen guest smoking around the grounds
