Re: "the last two" (17:03) -- I have noticed that this kind of thing (unreachable uranium and iridium from space) seems to happen more frequently on this planet. I wonder if it's something indigenous to Humble. I agree that this planet appears to put a bigger premium on exploring than the first one did (on the front end, at least). The iridium shortage has really got me stumped. Be aware that it's possible to fall down the big holes near the bauxite collections in the South, and I have not yet found a way out of those caves. There is some osmium available at the top of one of those mountains...I'll just leave it at that. (Thanks, reddit!)

Many thanks. I think the unreachable issue is just because this is such a new map. The old one was refined over a few years. I'm sure this one will improve.

great video, I have the vehicle station unlocked but the rover takes 2 rocket engines, at least I know where to get Iridium now, thank you. I'm having lots of fun and enjoy watching you explore.

Going along at a great clip there, Surtr. If you sort a location for main base next episode, might be worth plopping down the Biolab there pretty quickly if you have the power - If I'm remembering base game correctly, it gives a decent boost to oxygen production.

Unsure if you like checking out other player's saves, but I've progressed to about 16MTI already, but I'm playing it relaxed for the moment whilst I explore. There are quite a few spots to check out once things start warming up. :)

It is hard to find resources, but its also pretty nice that it is a bit harder. I finally found everything, and have extractors on them now. Got the map info, and then found 1 more, but that one, I can't get to it right now!! 😂

extractors need rods but also the blue resource (forgot the name) There is some frozen under the ice in the first ice cave, haven't seen it elsewhere

I think I should have refrained from opening every blue crate I found, and there are a lot in this DLC! I'm at the amphibian stage now on Humble. I've found 3 pressure and 1 plant fuse, so making the portal and the trade rockets (which you need energy fuses for) seems very unlikely for me now. 😣

Another good, packed episode. Just over 20 minutes but I know you cut a lot out. Just as a matter of interest, how long a game play do you have before editing it back to c20 minutes?

Thanks. Usually about an hour and a half to 2 hours for 20-30 minute episodes.

I will agree that this game is a bit more diffecult than the first planet. I have reached the lake level but it just did not show any water before 30-35% in that level. Osmium you can find a lot of in the dark biom. It is located near the big ship, up the steap hill and to your left!!! Im stuck now and need Zeolite...but the area is not yet melted....it just takes sooo much time to melt!! Nice episode just a bit rushed!!

I always rush. I will venture further north soon. It sounds like you need to boost your biomass production to get the zeolite to appear sooner.

@@surtrplays No I realiced that it was the heat. The heat gives you the rocket that starts the process of rising the stones that makes the entrenses to the Zeolite cave possible!! Most stuff you do to make biomass needs Zeolite!!

Now you have the t3 crusher why keep the older Mk 1 & 2 crushers going and waste the power on them? Also with the rains turning to lakes are you not worried about your base being flooded? Good video's thanks,

I will get rid of the old crushers eventually. Just being lazy. I have an idea where the water will be getting to based on the level f the rocks. I can't be sure so I'm taking a bit of a chance.

0:40 Your editing confused me; for a second I thought you had two comms antennae! Interestingly your heat is already above 100nK (this is also the heat level required to access osmium on Planet Prime) but I guess the ice melts over time. Hopefully beans means you'll finally stop eating eggplants. (There was squash!) 17:45 Well, right now your heat and pressure are only just starting to catching up with your oxygen, so you can't really describe the latter as lagging. Aren't Tuska seeds the highest multiplier you've found so far? Although I guess right now your best oxygen tech is grass spreaders which don't use flower seeds.

Sometimes my editing confuses me too. I thought it was microKelvin. The Oxygen lag is in my mind. I have played this game some much that I know the oxygen number is going to be much higher than the others. Yes, Tuskas are better but I didn't even think about it. Just went with the new stuff.

I was wondering if your playlist is wacky because of what you did, or how ytube approved a batch upload or something, using when their ESG/DIE (sic) analysis of each video finished as the determining factor of when on your playlist it posted...? I asked another guy just in the last few days, and he said, "It wasn't me," and he was able to reorder the playlist after I asked him about it...
