As I didn’t have enough games to play and KZbin creators to follow … I stumbled across your first episode of this series the same day you posted it and got hooked! Subscribed and bought the game plus the DLC, started my first game (original game) yesterday and got blue skies after a couple of hours. Good video. Interesting Base location you have chosen. Hope you have decent gumboots, nice boat and a decent outboard motor! LOL My base is up on a hill just to be safe! I'll pass on the vehicle, especially after seeing the power drain it requires. Keep up the good work.

I'm currently at 32% to Moss, and have a tip: Where you initially found the Osmium - It _is_ a lake, if a small one. Drop an algae generator there. Right now I have two Tier 1s, now one in the cave, one in the little proto-stream near the prior settlement (which I believe is where you are at the moment?) and a Tier 2 in the shallow lake by the second ice cave entrance. I'm also very glad that when I built my base there, I automatically put it on the frames, because that is also now a lake... and I'm watching the water level _very_ carefully. =l=

Great Video, I am loving it! I really feel like your new base may be slightly under water. I have found so much good stuff its exciting. I have seen water dripping from the ceiling in the ice caves while it melts, pretty cool animation from the devs.

I seem to remember an ice wall inside the first cave; I suspect they link up or are one and the same. (The original map also likes to ice up all of the caves so that you cann't traverse to the other side until much later.) You don't need power to make explosive powder, it works the same as e.g. super alloy. Heh, I can't believe you were still on the T2 oxygen tank. I assume that's just not an Iridium area, since T1 ore extractors work on Planet Prime. (Similarly, you're getting Bauxite rather than Aluminium, but at least the T1 ore extractor works on that.) You can also check the growth percentage on the algae generator itself to see whether the algae is ready. Don't forget that deconstructing two T1 algae generators gives you most of the resources you need for a T2 (just need some algae itself to convert your eggplants into fertiliser).

Don't leave the seeds on the little robots! Look around the sulfur area for some large containers. Don't be tunnel visioned to crates only :D

Maybe he goes over this base location but there is a pretty large and flat area North of hes current outpost location. The only major downside of that area is that becouse its so high up its pretty far away from any standing water source so before u get the drone network up and running u gonna have to run back and forth alot for the Algae. Also maybe not put the Launch platform up there becouse i found that a few meteores tends to slam into the hugh rock formation in the back and u may have to build all the way to the top to reach the resources that will get stuck up there.

7:42 There is some super alloy in this spot that's nearby. SPOILER: Up above on the ledge that circles that around the area where you put your ore extractor for the Bauxite. So you have to get up onto the ledge that circles the area where your Ore Extractor is working on the Bauxite. It may be on one side only.

There seems to be an invisible barrier over the area you built on. I have only seen meteors land outside that area, which becomes mostly surrounded with water. You keep leaving the white flowers behind. They are worth 400%.

For everybody going around with your T1 extractor kit and searching iridium. There is no direct way to harvest Iridium. You need at least T2 extractors and mine uranite. Spoiler: Big frozen lake Big 4-legged Spiders
