I enjoyed riding the cycle path into York, I was also on that stretch only last Monday at 7:53 and was impressed by how many people was out and about.

Glad you enjoyed the route from Brimham rocks on day 2 this is a lovely area for riding. Day 3 will be the Yorkshire Wolds over to Bridlington with some nice rolling hills after Pocklington. Living close to York I get the benefit of of both parts of the route which have spectacular views. Enjoy the ride.

Beautiful scenery; I'm very envious. It must be really nice to have a companion on these rides. I notice you have a bottle holder on your handlebar. Very convenient; don't think I've ever seen one for the handlebar before.

You’re in the heart of Albert Winstanley country there. Always read his ‘Cycling Today’ articles. Inspired me to do my first tour of Northumberland at 15. Remember pedalling downhill as the headwind was so strong, and flea pit YHA beds. 🤪 Think I’d be more credit card / B&B nowadays 😎

Thanks for sharing great to see - if you’re ever in York again let me know and I could meet up for a cuppa! The route out of York looks familiar that’s my main way in and out - we live in the south of the city in the suburbs. looks like your video ended in the route going through the new Derwenthorpe housing development so my guess is you would’ve stayed in a B&B somewhere in the east of the city? It’s great to see you riding on roads that look very familiar to me. Look forward to seeing the final instalment great whether you had!

That’s an invitation we will certainly take up, thank you. We stayed at a Travelodge and our only difficulty navigating to. It was school run time and the traffic was horrendous. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and the good news is that the final instalment is out now.
