There are a capulets of ways to make the zoo bounce back. 1> The fastest way is to shut down total arctic line for now. And focus on those spiders and snakes sellls stuff. It gives you some boost of money plus the guest happiness and all the problem is for the arctic region. 2> the modeling of the polar exhibit wasn't currently done. i> the polar bear viewing platform should have been to the ground floor of the station with glass. ii> the top glass viewing platform and the tunnel is not working at all plus it causing people not donating. Over all yes it's a mass but it can be fixed. Merry Christmas. ☃️

Sell everything in the polar bear exhibit. Every feed of them costs 10 thousand. You are minus 7 thousand a year. So you will getting 3 thousand profit the year. Dont stop it. You have a great zoo

I think he goes too big, in my zoo i have half a milion bc i put shops dispersed all around instead of in clutches and i make things close together so people dont walk 5km in between each habitat. He needs to make things less big including the habitat its too much to take care of

It’s the polar bears - both zoos I’ve added them to started losing money quickly. $10K base for food is a hard hit - probably a couple times a year. And it’s so hard to make the the exhibit appealing to garner the donations to balance their costs

If you have problems with the litter you can just grab one of your caretakers and put them near the zone you need cleaned. They will imediatly solve it.

You're bleeding money. Selling the polar bears will put 15g's in your pocket and save $10g per feeding. That can bring you up 25g's almost instantly. Plus you'll save all the money on the coolers in that habitat. Even the America's north area isn't a huge winner. It might be worth shutting it down for now and work on bringing the cash back up.

I think your money problems comes from trying to expand your park too fast. I feel like you need to be kinda patient and go slow in franchise mode. Right now, you spend a lot of money on a new exhibit everytime you have it instead of letting your income get to a stable point, and this makes your money fluctuate a lot. Instead I would recomend using your money to tweak what you have slowly, and then go to a new exhibit when the previous one feels completely done and you have a steady flow of money.

I think one thing that is a bit problematic for the zoo is how everything is so spaced out from each other. It seems guests spend most of their time travelling TO areas not between areas to view. I would love to see more things tightly packed together. Even if you have to start a new zoo I would keep watching, I’d like to see you take what you’ve learnt and start again. We’re all learning and loving to watch with you.

The reason they kept complaining that the costs were too high was because ur overall star rating dropped, so the guests thought the money was no longer worth it. So you needed to drop it to suit the overall rating

I commend you on do much better on the genetics of the animals. The staff cuts where also enjoyable, thank you for listening to our suggestions. I think the polar bears have got to go, more exhibits should also help. Maybe finish off India and then revist the artic as the India region has some great animals. I have no problem with the game plays being managemnt heavy. That's why we watch you instead of the many just building channels. It is hard to watch when you get so stressed but seeing you overcome those challenges is what makes this channel great. Merry Christmas and just hang in there you're doing wonderfully.

Episodes like this are what make games like this so interesting, there’s nothing like the scramble for money to make it realistic ❤️ It sounds bad but I would just delete the Arctic area, or at least the path and shops just to get rid of the negative effect of area. The large space the polar bear occupies would indicate that having a path around that area with overhead walkways would give better views

You want a walkway up the side once there are other arctic animals to see on the other side to keep people moving. Also as people only look once choose your view points, more isn’t always more plus it’s easier to focus education and tips

Suggestions: I think your zoo is too streched. The guests are taking forever to get to toilets and shops, and they are getting unhappy/thirsty, etc. making the areas large is visually good, but i think how the game works, its just not profitable. The same goes to the paths to the train stations. Also, the shop zone near the tapirs is completely unused. You should place the shops near where the people walk. Get more reptile/bug enclosure to add to creature cave and get easy money of babies. Other thing to get more money is more atms. When you trade animal for like 100$ its not worth it. You lose the money right away and you should be getting conservation credits that are much more rare. This are just some opinions i had for a long time and i hope it helps you. Seeing your money on red and negative makes me sad, since you have such a beautiful zoo, the best on youtube. Hope you can turn around the zoo to positive and please, dont stop the series, i cant afford the game and im “playing” by watching you play. Cheers and keep the good work, Merry Christmas.

I have gotten myself out of this position before 1- get rid of all adult animals keep baby ones, except for where no babies. Where there are no babies cut it down to 1 female, 1 male. 2- drop the price of the entrance and food and drink. 3- drop all feed cost down to grade 1. 4- assign 2 keepers to each habitate, and train them up to full 5. 5- assign 1 keeper to the exhibits 6- work out how many venders you require- note trains require one for the que and have another 3rd available to fill in when tired, train them up to full 5 stars and fire the rest. 7-Get yourself into positives and just watch yourself go up in income. Make sure you keep a maximum of 1 female and 1 male plus one “birth amount” in a habitate at the most otherwise it gets very expensive. 8- once mummy has given birth put straight on contraceptives. 9- keep researching everything you have not researched. 10- once you reach 50,000 to 100,000 finish off one area that you wanted to fix. Do the smallest things first. IT IS POSSIBLE YOU JUST NEED TO BE RUTHLESS in what you are doing.

I’d just remove the polar bears until you’re perhaps above $100,000 (preferably more). Polar bear feeding is very expensive. Also,I think you need more care takers (or more efficient work zones) to empty the bins and clean up existing trash. But yea,I’m starting to understand why I never see polar bears in real life zoos,they seem very high maintenance. Also *please* get rid of some vendors,you don’t need that many

I agree with a lot of the comments that say getting rid of the Polar Bears as a whole - exhibit, train station, toys, the bears - is your best bet. Widdle down low quality animals, breed for high appeal, keep the highest appeal animals, sell any lower ones (even if it's the original parents) and make sure to get a suitable mate in quality for these new pairs. As for staff, don't cut them off further, you need them and their pay is always gonna be that way, but it's better to have them than not. Especially if you trained them up. I like how you play the game for the most part, but i also wish you finished things before starting new ones, which is partially what did you in for this massive drop. Work on getting your current habitats to work and produce good results, that includes getting the Tortoises into a better setting asap because they'll eventually keep getting low scores or the occasional riot for one unfortunate animal's circumstantial wellfare and you might tank again with how under your income is. Even it means blocking off the bridge and splitting the Tortoise habitat into two, so be it. Keeping them there is fine, but they'd be better off without the bridge due to the nature of their travel speed. Remember. Quality is ALWAYS better than quantity.

I was thinking with the vendors that 3 dollars across the board doesn't really make sense, because if something is 9 dollars and increase to 12 is 30 percent, but if you increase something that cost 30 dollars and increase to 33 is only 10 percent. So increase everything by percentage not amount is what I'm saying. Maybe I'm wrong but it might help your finances

I think you should get rid of the polar bear exhibit. Sell everything including the viewing points and the train. I know you only will get half of your money back for everything, but I think getting the polar bear exhibit was too soon for this zoo. They are a high in animal and very expensive because they are so endangered and they are very high maintenance. Don’t stop this zoo, it has potential and I love watching this series. I noticed that the people who were very unhappy at the polar bear exhibit were fine when they first arrived and looked at other animals. When they got to the polar bear exhibit is when they started to become unhappy and wanted refunds. Also, Merry Christmas to you! I hope you have great holiday’s! Polar Bears says its $10,000 per feed. Could be a big part of the problem, and once again id suggest to reduce the number of animals although having a Pack or Herd of animals would be nice, but with the massive debt you’re in at the moment i think thinning out the bigger groups of animals would be a benefit, and one of the animal menu’s will tell you what you’re paying per feed, its the “animals” menu and is right above the list of animals, highlighted in green. Love the series keep it up ❤️

I'm sorry about the zoo, it's so frustrating to have to watch a zoo bleed out. My first couple franchises went down in flames. Honestly this game makes it really hard to come back from rapid expansion. I'd say, honestly, and I know how painful it is, but you might want to start a new zoo. I would recommend putting all the animals you want to transfer over in the trade center. It may have been a glitch but the last few times I've dipped out on a franchise I've been able to transfer over animals via putting them in the trade center before selling the zoo. I really feel for you man, seriously. This is an amazing saga and I think Elite Zoo 2.0 could be even better, maybe it could be fully tundra themed and we could explore the dlc more. Either way I'm wishing you the best and I'll still watch no matter what you chose

It was going well till the big expansion that isn't making back the money you used on it and it carries most of the unhappy guests too so maybe it'd help?? Things were good until the polar bears. For now, not only would I suggest closing the exhibit, but selling off the entire bear exhibit (bears, feeders, toys, fences, train depot etc.) to get back some money. Spend any new money on more breeding exhibit animals. Once the zoo is back on its feet, you can slowly add different animals to the zoo. (Probably not polar bears right off. They seem really expensive to keep up.) Don't give up, I have faith you will turn it around. I actually enjoy watching the manager side of things, so no worries there.

You should probably get rid of the polar bear exhibit. Put the bears in the trade centre and keep them in there for once you are ready for them. Also take it easy with the expansions. Maybe focus more on the already existing places. For example, go back to the tapier, make it better and finish it. Then go on on next locations. Good luck, looking forward to your next video 😊

Maybe just shut it down, like remove and sell the polar bears (if they do end up being fed while in the trade center) and then go back to two trains and close down the Polar Express station and continue to work on the india section, because that hadn't made him go broke, plus it's closer to the entrance so people are more likely to go there instead of the polar section🤷‍♀️

I think another problem with the money problems might be with all of the vendors you have. Not all of them will get off shift at the same time so maybe if you had a few with no work zone, so when one vendor gets off another will just be wondering and will walk to it.

this is really late but maybe I can help someone: the mistake that happened here is the only way to visit the polar bears is by transport. I did the same thing with my Bengal tigers and went from $140.000 to -$100.000 in 1 hour gameplay. People do not like areas to be inaccessible and will say your zoo sucks. This is easily solved by adding a path to the new area or putting the animals in storage to save for later usage.

And I think opening a smaller second zoo might help you bounce back. I also don’t mind the management part of your play throughs. I think this is a poor advice/decision. Shut down the whole store (any not profitable), fire that staff person. Eliminate any non-profitable vendor/store and you will start making money. You expanded too fast and added too many stores in locations that didn't need them (yet).

This series is amazing and I don’t want it to end, I think you just hit a rough patch in trying to expand too quickly... I think the polar bears was too much of a risk, especially considering how expensive they are, I would suggest shutting the exhibit for now... I think that moving the prices of admissions and food really messed with customer satisfaction. I think keeping them low and getting as many people in and buying would work better. Also as many are saying the whole polar bear exhibit should go imo. A lot of problems stemmed from that. It's just too much room for your staff to cover. Please don't give up on this zoo! If you make more changes I think you can still recover 😊

My idea would be to take a loan and use the money to place more exhibits near your habitats. it attracts customers very well. Still think that the peafawl is your moneymaker though. Hopefully you'll survive.

I would suggest to adjust the aging of the animals so you can pay more attention to other aspects of game play instead of constantly replacing animals, I love your attention to detail and I hope the adjustment will allow you to work on other things in detail. Happy holidays

This has nothing to do with the zoo’s money issues but may become a problem for you in the future. Udele (the antelope) died in the water. A vet won’t be able to enter the water to remove her body/bones until you empty out the water temporarily and let the vet collect her. If you don’t, you’ll end up with cleanliness problems in that habitat. I love this series so much!! Despite all the struggles you’re still my favorite PZ player. I love this series, I also think the video format of you doing things is balanced and pleasant. :) And a bit of hopefully help for you, try to put down a lot more ATMs roughly every 15-20meters of path in lenght and garbage bins about every 10 meters. If it's too far or too crowded guests give up and toss it on the ground or wander the zoo broke. Thank you for this series, it's really fun and motivates me to play along :)

I think maybe put the bears in storage and once you get your money back up reopen it but before you reopen it, you should finish the other food court that isn’t finished and maybe also once you reopen the polar bears make sure people can walk to it so they’re not forced to use the train. They seem to be upset on the train so not forcing them on it would be good. But absolutely love this series can’t wait to see it bounce back!

The artic exhibit needs to be all or nothing. Just polar bears is not enough, you need more stuff to keep the guest out there and entertained. Also, the power range drops as the repair status of the transformers/solar panels drops. More regular maintenance will keep the range near the max.

Yes to binoculars! Since I first started watching lets plays I kept seeing habitats and thinking “You know what would be great? Those coin slot pay-to-use Binoculars. As I have not heard/seen anyone else bring it up I thought it was just me.

i think something that could help is looking at how much each feeding each animal is costing you and then calculating how many feeding trays you have. Some animals like the pronghorns only cost like $60 while the tortoise costs like $1000 per feeding. keeping more of the cheap eaters and lowering the number of the high cost animal feed will probably help

Don’t get discouraged! The polar bears are what definitely messed with you though. The feeds are 10k each time. I would cut my loses with them and try to rebuild from there. But if you were to restart with another zoo, I would watch that as well, you can always take what you learned. If you were going to keep the polar bears I would suggest giving them more land and less water it seems they have plenty of water. Thanks for all the hard work! Love your videos 💕

Use the zoo>zoo overview> guests menu to see what's making them unhappy. For my own zoo I had to double up on some food/drink facilities because of long lines, it looked messy for a while having two gulpy soda next to each other but it helped. Also with the clicking if the first clock doesn't work hit the enter key usually fixes it

Also look in animals>habitats to see whats costing the most for food (polar bears) and maybe swap them for something cheaper to keep.

I think the problem with the polar bears' space is that there's too much water, they need more walking space. I also think you have way too many vendors, because it says low workload on most of them. And another problem would be the fact that people have to travel a lot to get to different habitats, you should create new habitats in the big spaces you have between them. I hope this helps, I enjoy watching your videos a lot!

I think you should connect the tower in the bison exhibit to the underground food court. I also think you should try to add more shelter on paths for guests to keep them out of the snow! Also, add flooring, walls and some sky lights to the underground food courts! Also make the train ride more scenic with trees and statues and such!!! Love this series. I watch every episode.

I agree that having more exhibits dotted around the zoo would help income and make the longer walkways more enjoyable for guests
