Honestly think it would be easier to just trade out the males when it comes to the antelope, the females are all great quality and it would be cheaper to just buy a single new male and is a lot less work then going through each time working out who is who's sibling lol.

Hey Party, I went back and watched ep.34 @26:39. The market when you were flatting the land you started have problems with the water. The land by the path as they would walk in to the market.I hope that helps.

Stop apologizing!! Take a deep breath and relax. I think everyone who's played Planet Zoo has experienced the absolute panic and pain that comes with multiple crashes or doing a lot of work then the game crashing without a save. I think my worst one was when I spent 3 hours straight creating like 4 different exhibits only for the game to crash and lose EVERYTHING. I felt so defeated I just turned off my computer and left it for a few days. We all get it, we've all been there. It's a fairly new game and it still has a lot of kinks to work out. Dont feel bad for not finishing the elephant exhibit or for stressing about losing things and saving the game constantly. I promise you, we understand. I'm sorry you had a particularly difficult time with this recording but I commend you greatly for persevering as much as you did and STILL putting out an episode that's an hour and thirty minutes long. You're so dedicated to your craft and it's so obvious and we as fans (based on these comments) appreciate your efforts SO much. So take a deep breath, everything is okay, relax. Tomorrow will be better. (This is in regards to your tweet yesterday too, I saw you felt disheartened.) Aside from that, would you ever consider uploading that hard shelter you did for the elephants as a blueprint? I loved it and I'm nowhere near as creative as that so I'd love to use it in my game. And personally I'd think it was very cool for the boat to stop and look at animals (like the safari situation you described) but I'm not sure if waiting that long for them to move would affect your guest's happiness in a negative way or not. Anyway, today's episode was still enjoyable. Cant wait for the next one :)

A quick.suggestion, I know you tried using null barrier, can you try using any water tight ones, they would essentially segregate the Water area into different chunks, that should allow you to edit the water at one place, and you can always delete the barriers once done.

I love the idea that you have for the elephants. But you might have to adjust it a bit so the habitat gate is accessible. Anytime that the you add new elephants in your going to have to move the wall up and down. I would also make there hard shelter a little taller, it seems kind of short. Loving all the videos and the ideas you have!

Yes the habitat gate is a problem. Vet trips also will end with the animal being trapped behind the wall.

Oh you poor thing, that was super frustrating. Hope next session goes better. About the boat ride, the crocodile basically never move, so they'll block the boat forever. Maybe worth it to stop them from getting on the tracks.

Can the keepers get into the elephant habitat? I might be the only one but I feel as if the stairs (the last one that the boat comes to) might be a little to close to the tracks. Also make sure there is a boat at each stop even if only one station is working at the moment, because A) if an animal gets in the way of a track causing the boat to stop, then you can still load people before nobody can get on. And B) as long as It has "dont block station" enabled then a boat will stay at the station until another boat comes along

The only different thing that you have done before the water wouldn’t go back was add the mud pit enrichment in the crocs and the roller enrichment in the tigers, both which are right next to the water.

Also I think you may be able to multi select animals that are in the trade center from the normal animal menu (just sort by location) versus having to select them one by one in the actual trade center menu.

Love this series :) i think even with the slower pace (which i like) you always manage to get enough done in your episodes it doesnt feel boring, and i think you have a good mix of management, building, timelapses, etc. Please keep going!!

Love your videos. I don’t know if it is just me but it seemed faster and less stressful if you didn’t organize by maturity when getting rid of exhibit animals. You mention being worried about still having breeding pairs and you would be better able to tell what animals of species you have if they are all together. Also if an exhibit animal was no longer a pair due to death you would have a higher chance of catching that. Maybe I am wrong but just my observation. On a different note you are going to have to have space for the keeper entrance into the elephant exhibit for the elephants. If they escape, you buy new one, or they get boxed they need a path back into their habitat because they are boxed/ let out near the door. That is why your elephant was stuck back there.

Hello. For your water issue lemme quote 'Animals (or even a keeper inside the enclosure) too close, or in, the edge of the where you want to fill to. Boxing all animals in enclosures where the water passes through or is in and waiting for the keeper to leave resolve this one.'' Maybe try getting rid of the animals in Wolf enclosure too? The path where those picnic benches are could also be another issue. The next tip is kind of a hoax but it did worked for some of us. Toggle " Flatter terrain on/off" and the obstruction will end. Good luck!

Heres a tip for you if you haven't learnt this already, or maybe I'm not that far in the video yet. But, if you go into the zoo management panel you can select as many animals as you like that are also in the trade centre which you can move all together into an enclosure. For example, you moving all the Gharials

40 episodes in and it still makes me smile. Did note on the first person tour that the stalls in the panda exhibition seem to be floating as is the solar panel on the last boat stop. And the staff rooms/washroom views feom the boat ride. Maybe another beautification episode is needed using the views from them as reference?

I personally like the idea of having the boat ride stop if an animal is near. I think people go to the zoo to see these animals that they may not see everyday, so to have a chance to get even closer to one, and on a ride like a boat, may be a really cool experience! Granted, the ride won’t go as fast as the train ride, but I think it is a nice added bonus for getting to experience animals up close and personal.

We appreciate your dedication :) Towards the end of the video you mention linking up that dead end path in the Bangcrock Night Market (near the waterfall) to the Indian Elephant section. I think it'd also be good to bring that path across the water to link up with the path leading into Bagrahbah. Maybe even hook up the staff path from down below too (hopefully that all makes sense! it's hard to describe)

At around 1:05:00 when you put the heaters for the elephants down they were still set to your default of 30°C, not sure if this is a problem.

I feel like you handled all the set backs a lot better then I would have. The walk through at the end definitely made me see how big the zoo is compared to an overhead view like normal. I think the boat ride overall is good but the crocs blocking will be a pain. Maybe just have the boat loop around the elephants and rhinos without going into croccreak? Great progress! You can use heaters to encourage animals over to an area. Pandas deal with snow regularly but keeping the heaters by the temple will get them over to the best viewing areas.

I think all the best views came from your older builds. I fell like the sizes were best suited for the animal and had the right amount of detail, but they kept getting bigger and keeping up the detail became difficult cause you wanted to balance them out. That's what it just seems like to me. Either way, I really like this series and you're the only person I watch play this game 👌

Just watched all 40 ep. in this week. Really like the pace, gamestyle and your custom buildings, habitats and food courts are just awesome! Suggestions/critiques: It always looks like there are not that much people around/looking at the Tiger habitat. You should check how much donations you get around there compared to others, It should be much higher income considering their high appeal points, and how much you spent on them. If not something is off, my feeling is that the paths are too far away for good viewing, and/or not enough people get there 1st place. You could move the path on right that goes up to Baghrabah inside/trough the habitat. Make it a bridg e/platform over it, or ramp down to floor and have fence/concrete-glass left and right of path. That would bring the visitors much closer to the Tigers. And make the path also exit Baghrabah/Temple again (on the right side, temple faced view) and connect it down to the Elephant habitat. Because, and that is the 2nd critique, you often build your food courts/vendors somewhere in a corner, out of the way. I think that does not work well, visitors move from habitat to habitat, vendors/food should be along the way, if they are out of the way, few visitors go there. Best example was early Tavern, Omnomnom v1 same, and it still is a little bit, noone visits the 3 toilets at the back, they should ne split up and put somewhere more accessible. For the polar bears, the habitat is huge. I think you have to put the main view point inside (center) of it and then make paths extend from there, similar to TaPier. Maybe put the railway station in the center too. Or a path/bridge from left-front corner to center viewpoint, and then path back out to tight-front corner.

I would love to see what your inspiration is for a lot of the builds. I’m also bad at phonically spelling the name of places. That thumbnail is GORGEOUS! 👏🏻 You are right about Indian stepwells (that was the term you were looking for), the steps are rather steep and not suited for elephants. They are usually not exactly nimble creatures.🤓 Except for some escape artists, lol. I'm excited to see the whole execution of the new temple! You probably need to make an opening in the collonade for the keeper's gate, but I'm sure you already realized that. I wish I knew what to advise on how to stop the game from crashing. Oh man - All the crashes! I'd have lost my patience for sure, great to see you just push through. Aaand I saw the croc baby _ don't know how I missed it last time :o The boat ride was beautiful - So happy to have been here from the start! :D Probably the longest series I've followed!

Loving the series so much, I always look forward to seeing this I'm my time line, I will say, I feel like you can bring back the polar bears now, you should be able to cover any costs that may arise with all the exhabit animals, that will help with the happiness and refunds! And there also so very cute I really want to see them back, also just save alot, sometimes the game just can't handle the amount of things going on, so just save all the time xx

Also I love the idea of the boats waiting for the animals to move, like PE said it's like a Safari and makes it more realistic.

wow! the new temple shelter and the wall by the path look so cool! it's really bringing the area together and love the steps although I think if you could make the ellie river a bit wider where the boat goes near the steps might work better and can't wait till you connect the paths to crocs and tigers that should help a lot so guests don't have to back track .I loved the boat ride & the tour happy you remembered. Sorry the game kept crashing that wold have sent me over the edge but you kept on going! maybe it's from last update as I've been hearing others have the same issue so not your fault at all. Congrats on ep.40! looking forward to more!
