oh no, and every piece is climbable? man this reminds me of one time I was playing zoo tycoon and I put a T-rex in an exhibit and it escaped like immediately and I watched as it destroyed its habitat and my whole zoo. Being a little kid as well I cried a lot haha...

First off, REALLY digging the Machu Picchu vibe, and that leads me into my suggestion. Since Croc Rock will need to be beautified eventually, I think a cool start would be to carry that cobbled and weathered wall texture you've built, and use it for the viewing window separating the crocs from Llama Lane. It would look like yet another terrace in the landscape, and work to "blend" the spaces together. Love your work, man.

Hey Party! Llama lane looks great, and reminds me that I think your next priority should be the croc exhibit. Right now it’s just a giant water parking lot with nothing interesting to look at, despite being the first enclosure guests see! It pales in comparison to the rest of the zoo.

Honestly, I think your best bet is adjusting the capuchin barrier so it doesn't include the capuchin camp building. Then you wont have to rebuild the entire structure (because that would really suck), cuts the climbable objects out and hopefully helps with lag, and can use an official barrier to contain the monkeys because we know that will work. You still have the guest entrance there to keep it a walk-through enclosure. You could potentially use bushes to block the climbing spots - the habitat barrier also has a hedge option that might look good. Llama Lane and the shop covers look great! The greenery has made a huge difference, I think more around the water will help liven it up a lot. The colour change on the capuchin camp sign also is a nice touch!
@rebekahhumphreys20504 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. The climbable pieces are making it so the animal can clip through (like the Siberian tigers in EZN) so change the barrier so and block off the climbable pieces :)
@elenag51124 жыл бұрын
I also think there was some sort of update and now the entrance barrier that Party made for the guests does not work as a block for the monkeys, can they jump over it? Maybe let a money escape so you can see where the problem is. I do like the idea of using an official entrance barrier from the game! I 100% believe it's the guest entrance that is the problem

I was just thinking about Oragutown...I like the enclosure without the bamboo, but I am looking forward to the solution. Maybe, a fix could be... Designing the inner part to look similar a museum. For example, when walking through a museum and there are pieces with glass cages with a small description for each. The description can be on the walls. 🤔
@protocol6224 жыл бұрын
The lag might be due to having the climbing pieces INSIDE the enclosure - so the game needs to calculate the paths/whatever through each piece for all the monkeys. If you end the habitat right before the building, and block it off (elephant grass :) ) - so that the building is outside the actual habitat it should solve all your problems.
@4sythdude5494 жыл бұрын

I absolutely love what you did with llama lane! I think some flowers or just other vegetation “growing” out of the rocks would be a way to liven up the space but not get in the way of way of the llamas being able to run. I think you should continue the bamboo fence from off the stairs and never let the monkeys get to the building in the first place. Hopefully, then they wouldn't be able to climb anything. Or you could accept defeat and let the monkeys in the upper food court and just block current escape routes. Clipping may also be a problem you have to consider.

Ahhhh I'm late, I was playing Parkasaurus! It's too addictive. Archaeology fact #4: We're going to Egypt this time! This might be one of the more well-known facts, but the ancient Egyptians mummified a ton of different animal species. Cats, dogs, ducks, ibises, fish, mongooses, monkeys, rams, bulls, gazelles, lizards, crocodiles, rats, and mice have all been found mummified in tombs. Bulls were typically associated with the Apis cult, while fish and ducks would provide food for the soul in the afterlife. Rats and mice were often mummified as food for the deceased's pet cats!

There seems to be something that the monkey can either clip or clip though. Maybe pull the bamboo away from the building. Llama lane look really good. It does not look overly done.
@Sipu974 жыл бұрын
Love the thumbnail!! :D I was thinking that removing the parts of the bamboo fence that touch the ground and are not seen, not the visible parts, would help. I was about to suggest that the monkeys could clip through the walls and use the bamboo the climb up, but then you later touched upon that. They must have done an update again that causes this D: Well, at least the possible problem is now identified. Actually, the intervening of the inbreeding doesn't cancel their mate status. Remember when Suyana and Ollanta were about to inbreed? Well, they are still mates, you just put Suyana on contraceptives. 35:20 It's actually Lola :) I really like the Llama Lane. It isn't filled up with "human touch". I like the stairs as they are. I'd however distribute the enrichment stuff so that guests stop to watch the animals all the way around the lane, not just at the entrance. Perhaps the Llama Lane shop guest happiness could be brought to 100% by adding the "wallpaper" to all of the sides of the shops, not just the front. Little edit here, I'm starting to miss Elite Zoo North again.

love the changes to llama lane! for the management problem with the animals i would have done something different. the "simple" solution would have been: keep the gold ones, retire the infertile animals and try to keep rapport 1:1 (males: females). that is a good way to avoid inbreeding in a large group, i use it all the time with flamingos

It looked like they were able to climb up a tree on the left side of the path and maybe get out? 1:07:29 is the best view I could get of it. I would try just taking the wood panels off the doorway and then removing the bamboo and see where that gets you. It looks like you almost had it the last time. Once you removed the panels and if you just get rid of the bamboo on the right side of the stairs I think that might help a lot.

About the lag: It's not just you; everyone is experiencing delays, crashes, and lag in their games the past few days/week. To fix the climbable problem, you can put the Aztec blocks at the bottom. That will stop the monkeys' being able to climb the structure. Awesome video!

just want to start off by saying that i love this series, there's always something to look forward to to brighten my day! i started watching probably in november/early december. really like the new look of llama lane. the building in camp capuchin is truly amazing, combining the aesthetics of two of my favourite things: museums and botanical gardens (their greenhouses). i have some comments regarding some of the habitats. pachamama's garden: the animals are forced to swim in order to leave the right side (when viewing from camp capuchin). not completely sure but this might also be the case when they want to cross to the other side with hard shelter. camp capuchin: i was wondering if the monkeys are able to climb the wall and then jump on to the stairs. when you deleted some of the wall planks there was still enough left for them to get over the turnstiles and reach the stairs meant for humans (who are the real animals, re littering). maybe you could try moving the bamboo blocking pieces closer to ground level so that they won't have access to the wall at all? the issue could be something completely different, but I don't think that has been ruled out yet.

I finally caught up!... now I’m sad I have no more episodes to binge watch haha
@MikadoHikarine4 жыл бұрын
Llama Lane looks great! Such a simple change of adding the retaining wall structures really helps make it look so much more finished than just a big open space. I think the quickest and most surefire solution for Camp Capuchin would be to just bite the bullet and block the monkeys from reaching the building at all. Since they can't go in any way there's not really a reason to have it as part of the enclosure. With the building out of the bounds of the habitat should also help with the lag if that's what's causing it since the game wouldn't be calculating the wood as climbable anymore. But if someone else has identified the actual problem definitely go with that
@lorna_alice4 жыл бұрын
Thought; maybe take time to figure out the money business out of recording time then recap it once there's a solution? But please do not destroy the pretty building, it's majestic. The rocks around the education boards need a little finessing as they appear a little jaunty. But overall the new layers help so much.

You might want to check with the trade center to see if there are capuchins with better stats. At 1:07:31 it looks like there's a climbing path that goes from the thin tree to the building. Not sure what it is, but it has straight lines. All things considered, the only way to know how the capuchin can get up to the second floor might be to watch them and block off any paths they use to escape. If you want to stop inbreeding in the llamas, you're going to need more than just two new ones. You'll need at least 5 new ones. The reason there's inbreeding now is because all of the younger llamas from just two females, so they're all related. And make sure to take Suyana off contraceptives.

Honestly it might be worth waiting around and watching them to see where they can get out or if they even try to. Hi Party, a couple of suggestion for the Capuchin enclosure. If they are climbing the wooden panneling could you potentially use the frameless glass in front of it, as glass isnt climable, and should still be able to see the wood features. Hopefully it wouldnt look too bad. Other suggestion, maybe they are jumping over the barriers? Maybe try and watch to see them to see how they would escape. Good luck!

Jealous of your patience as always! I have no experience with the game aside from watching you so won't be much help with solving our problem:(. Though maybe if it comes to it you could make the bottom half of the walls something non climbable? It'd preserve the look but potentially stop escapes. I'd be interested in watching more problem solving but particularly in watching them try to escape as some of the other comments say it could be helpful. Love how llama lane is coming on! I'm not quite sure if you read this, but.. On your Llama lane enclosure there's no reason for Llamas to walk the path since they will have actually to go all the way arround to reach back to their "green space" and there are no activities there for them, So i guess a good option would be to open up the "path" you have on the far bottom so they can have access in the other side of the 'lake', aand add different toys all along the path so you can make them take the path and possibly interact with guests. This way guests might be more willing to donate to all of your boxes, instead of waiting and seeing them from the top. It might increase their quality of the "view" of the llamas, Since most of them are observing them from the top, even if they are pretty far away.
@Lia_arzena4 жыл бұрын
I think you should just add the elephant grass as a hack again . I think maybe one of the trees or the stairs can make them jump onto the museum. Also I don’t if you have forgotten but I suggested to put the train in another space because it can take up a lot of space and it end up lagging. Since it’s already lagging it maybe a idea to put the ride in another place to even out the pieces.

the traversable area filter is so laggy because it's trying to calculate allllll of that climbable stuff that is now inside the enclosure, just move the barrier to the stairs and change the back of the building to something that is not climbable.

Yep that's exactly it.

I’m a big fan of llama lane! It turned out lovely. You have Machu Picchu, and Humantay lake in llama lane! Don’t be shy, tie it up with Rainbow Mountain! *i think what’s missing in llama lane is hard shelter maybe you can integrate it into your accent wall? I wish there was more variation with coloring of the terrain and water, it’d be a billion times prettier.

For the monkeys, maybe its better to keep camp capuchin out of the enclosure and put a non climable barrier and pay attention to the trees so they won't climb over the barriers... we're here to support you through it Party, the best moments and the stressful moments too 😊

Yeah might just have to do that and cut the building off from them completely!

oh my the Monkey Mafia! Those sneaky little things! How in the world are they suddenly escaping? Could they be jumping from the trees? Or maybe jumping over the turnstiles? What a mystery! I'm sure you'll figure it out and bet it's some little thing we're just not seeing! I like the Llama space it looks so cool and the store fronts too! I think you're right and once the water effects are done it will look amazing. p.s. love the green shadow on the name! have a good week see you next episode!

-such lag very weird -maybe monkeys can jump over things? So weird -yay a whole building made of climbable omg no why -lol the person half through the stairs while you're paused putting in the extra bamboo -"this ain't a video game" lol well no it's not assassin's Creed correct there at least -the stone walls absolutely transform Llama Lane, makes a huge difference, as well as that awesome store facade -i think the monkeys can climb "over" each of the individual wood pieces, despite clipping through other pieces. The game sort of picks ones to prioritize and forgets others it doesnt know what to do with. Potentially the full glass covering would do it, blocking off all the various pieces instead of treating them like a singular wall because I don't think the game actually sees it that way. -maybe save the upper/outer walls for when we are more finished with the geometry of the place and ready to work on the hidden waterfall area where the staff room is, just to make sure we don't get locked into something that ends up in the way -the phat maths going on today, PC getting a workout for sure -eh that's a fairly nuclear option to just lop off a section of the area with glass habitat walls or something. -process of elimination will have to be backwards than usual, you'll have to block off everything 100% sure, then slowly go through allowing small sections of access to test. Doing it the other way of choosing small sections to deny won't work because too many options for multiple access points hiding which sections are problems -wild day today. Love a good trainwrecksky to solve lol
