this game is so fast paced. All I see of it is videos of people with death stars destroying entire planets and they make it seem easy. Now that I have watched this ive seen the game in its true light and see how crazy it is. I don't really like free for all any way im kind of the guy who likes teammates to back you up.

No big new features? Have you heard of the annihilaser and gas giants? :p Both figuratively and literally big. Grenadiers are kind of anti-dox (dox swarms, specifically) due to their aoe but I agree that they are underpowered because they don't do well against anything else and tanks do about as well against doxs. You're super wrong about doxs. They are still extremely good. Go watch Custard own with them in the Cheddar Cup on Zaphod's channel if you don't believe me. They just aren't good against air now, which is for the best. You just have to be precise in how you use them. You need to use their mobility to raid and flank and know when you don't have enough to attack a tank force because if you go in on tanks with too few doxs you will just lose them all without the doxs doing any damage while enough doxs will overrun the tanks. You can go either vehicles or bots and be successful. Personally, I like to start with 3 bot factories for doxs and use those throughout the game for raiding and make the rest vehicles with some bombers for good measure. You probably meant that doxs aren't good in FFAs alone, though, which may be true since it's generally a matter of turtling and building up a large deathball and a deathball of tanks can beat a deathball of doxs for sure but that was true before the release patch, too :p Man, brown went turtle in a half-shell on his little peninsula over there :o "Yellow and blue have just been going at it for so long yellow's battered and bruised." It's good to hear that two souls can find comfort in each other's arms amidst all this turmoil and death :p When you said, "I would love for orange to try, just try and break down our conventional army," I was *really* hoping to see an orange nuke come down from the heavens :) Turns out is was blue instead! That was a super clutch anti-nuke :O Had that nuke been spotted any later it would have been too late. Dude, when your teleporter gets attacked use the fabbers to repair it. Could have sent half the fabbers to reclaim the slammers attacking it too :) When you're spamming fabbers, make them T2 fabbers. They are far more energy efficient. Oh, and I'm pretty sure blue sent the three nukes to that spot on lava because all he could see were the orbital units and you had a ton of orbital fabbers there. Since he sent all three there he must have guessed your Com was near the orbital factory for some reason. He did end up killing a shit ton of fabbers, though :p That was a great ending :D

Harry Stevens From what I can tell its basically youtubes end. Since the majority of the people seem to be having no issues. Like either you are watching the video as soon as it comes out or you don`t have it on full screen with 1080p resolution.

I like RTS's in general, but these types seem so fast pace that make me suck at them :( It all comes to who can build faster in the better order and things like that. Any other suggestion better for me? I'm still giving PA a try, love how unique it is.

If you want a slow moving RTS I think the new Stronghold is right up your alley but PA is fast paced in some cases. Not all the time mind you! It will depend on the skill of your opponents and the map sizes

Game looks interesting but why on earth would i want to play with icons all day instead of actually seeing the battle. From what i saw you have to zoom in way too close to get to see some actual battle.

The game is interesting because of the scale. You can make huge armies, fight on the ground, in the air, in orbital and between the three. You fight over multiple planets. It takes a larger perspective where all that's identifiable are icons. You can try playing zoomed in if you want but you will miss a lot and never reach your full potential as a player. If you need to see things up close then Starcraft 2 might be a better fit for you.

Galaxy Gaming Ah but the gas giant is the only planet immune from the laser :D They are amazing though. Those jigs are retardedly cost-efficient. If they only collected metal they'd do it as cost-efficiently as a T2 MEX and if they only generated power they'd do it much more cost-efficiently than a T2 PP but THEY DO BOTH for that cost! So good. Plus, the only way to destroy them is orbital so you just have to have more avengers or put a bunch of anchors on them and they are protected.

Build, Keep expanding and scout. That is it for now since the game will constantly be changing. Tell you to go one build will only help for awhile till the next change. It is only recently that the Doxes have been nerfed to put into perspective

There is a thread on the Uber forums called Build Orders that I try to keep up to date. forums.uberent.com/threads/build-orders.61798/page-2#post-983400 If you go to the last page there will be build orders that will give you a really good start to your matches and there is also a lot of helpful information in the earlier posts about how the game's economy works, common mistakes and how to avoid them, etc. I'd say the one big addition I'd make to Roflness's general tips is to balance your eco with production. It's easy to get carried away with growing your economy and end up wasting it or to get carried away with making factories when you don't have the resources to operate them at full efficiency. You want to make just enough resource income to support the quickest production growth possible to get the biggest armies/weapons. Watch your income at the top and if you start floating resources (income turns blue) then you should get more build power onto factories because you're generating more resources than you can use. If it turns red, then you don't have enough income to support your production so you should take some build power off production and put it toward increasing that resource's income. Anyway, all this is discussed on the thread if you're interested.
