Umbrellas won't help in this case. Why? Because the unit cannon would fire it in a really low orbit, and by the time the drop pods got in range, they'd already be in the atmosphere, and thus, untouchable (Because anti-air doesn't work against drop pods. (Which are technically orbital units, according to the game rules. This is also why nukes require an anti-nuke launcher. They're technically orbital units, too. However, this doesn't apply to the Astrellas, which is also an air unit, and can thus be hit with anti-air)
