That'd actually be a pretty interesting encounter. If the Imperium came into contact with the Commanders, how would that play out? I mean, the Mechanicus would probably love them since they're essentially fully-sentient AIs according to the lore; but the Commanders were programmed to annihilate sentient life. Maybe they'd get lured into dealing with the Tyranids?

@@HAWK_6155 there are two main things to consider, one is that the Commanders are sentient machines or A.I. and if I'm not mistaken the Emperor himself abolished the use and construction of any sort of A.I. in its Imperium (and the Mechanicus still follow this law, at least as far as I'm aware). And second of all, the Commander are absolutely gigantic, and the Planetary Annihilation's Titans are even bigger, what the hell is ANY of the faction in the 40k universe gonna do about a giant robot that could shoot down spaceships from the planet? Poke him with cyclonic torpedoes before it builds ion cannons or a rocket and flies to other planets?

i have the need to point this out but if you take the average height of the trees on a tropical map which look to be palm trees so well go with that. which their average height is 10-15 meters in height and the fact that the command and some of the tanks get that tall... these things are like 6 story buildings that just run around like every unit in PA is basically a small titan in terms of size. just a thing to consider :)

@@alexfranz817 I always figured that the likes of TA/SupCom/PA were somewhat like Dark Age humans had for warfare - armies of self-replicating robots, with an AI commander or a human in a giant mech in charge. Hell, think about it - the _smallest_ unit in Supreme Commander, the T1 Mech Marine, is as large as a Warhound Titan, and they can pull armies of those out of their ass anywhere, anywhen.

@@MarvinMegavolt that's kind of a part of my point. Any universe that has lore that has any remote basis in reality doesn't have any chance of standing up against the 40K universe. TAs self replicating building sized, neutronium armored, antimatter spewing swarm bots are more ridiculous than 40k. They tried to do a crossover with BOLO once and couldn't figure out how to balance a a 40k army fighting a stadium sized sentient tank who's damage output was measured in megatons per second. Great books if you get a chance, though.

well the game is ok I guess, the idea is amazing. It needs a lot of polishing, which wont come now, but its also a lot of fun if you ignore the cluncky intrface and very laggy maps (its not really optimised T_T). but they delivered on the vision and I like it wouldnt call it a great RTS but an ok one with a very unique feeling and gameplay.
