We could also say that because Mars activities must be done with precision and without fluctuation, (an energy that Saturn ruled Capricorn directs well), that Mars in the fluctuating moody sign of the moon is not going to result in the best expression or outcome of Mars activities. I noticed that fall, debility, exaltation, domicile in a natal chart point also to how the world responds to the native’s expression of that energy. So an exalted Mars will be better received or understood by others than a debilitated Mars. Therefore it’s not always necessarily that the planet’s energy is incorrectly used by the native but that in debility or fall, it’s in general Not well received by others. Which in turn debilitates the expression or makes it more extreme. A circle of action-reaction reflecting the easy or difficult “status” of the planet in the chart. And of course vice versa with an exalted or domiciled planet. Wouldn’t you agree?

I love your message about Cancer. I have Mars in Cancer and everywhere they say it's in fall. But it has so many good qualities....you are talking about. Def mars in Cancer is a moma bear. She will do no harm unless it comes to her family or the weak. And when you come at her with violence she will act accordingly. ( not saying she will use actual violence ) But when you say something " presumed hurtfull" with soft words and understanding...she will act accordingly too. I believe/feel it softens the rough edges of Mars 💪❤. Watched your video about " the moment of death" thank you for sharing. If you want to look into the aspect or transit.... Ten years ago I had a trauma to my body and lost 4 liters of blood. They had to operate, the next day the doctor said. We don't know how your body did not go into shock. Well I knew....because spirit source....said to me. Whatever you do when you wake up. Don't close your eyes. I was in between worlds too....presented with a choice. If you want you can look at my birthdate if there are the same or possible aspects or transits that can indicate "the moment of death choice" 22-08-1981 08.40hr am Veldhoven Netherlands. I have mars in cáncer and have always been a mama bear.... my mother passed away when I was 23, leaving my sister of 11 years old behind, whom I cared for. But I also cared for my father and mother and everyone around me. I host events and my job is to take care of everyone especially the teachers. I am naturally a good host, and for the moment, have no kids of my own, so I care for everyone else..... although at this particular time I am changing and channeling it towards taking care of myself, etc

I absolutely luv the mother bear analogy... my natal mars is 18 of cancer so this transit and opposition is dead on!!! Also having my second Saturn return now in Capp alongside that heavy Pluto Saturn south node stuff!!!! Luckily, I have the moon in Pisces, so I have found understanding through self help therapies, and counselling, which are better than turning to drugs for relief 😌

Thank you so much for this. I have Mars Cancer (9th house) at 18 degrees it squares my 22 degree Pluto Libra (12th house) and trine my 15 degree Scorpio Rising (1st house). Female warrior is exactly how this feels for me. I remember watching Wonder Woman and bawling my eyes out seeing her, and the Amazonians, because I resonated so much with that. I do have an Aquarius Moon (4th house) and, while not aspected to Mars, it does lend itself to my want/need to protect the outcasts. Also my passion to help women step into their own feminine warrior power.

Adam, very intriguing, helpful and grounded description. You’re a new Astro discovery for me and i’m enjoying your videos! 😊 With 9th house Mars / N node in Cancer, conjunct Venus in Gemini, lots of energy and passion for blogging; also in providing bodywork and educating people in releasing trauma (“cutting cords”) that prevent healing to occur (Chiron in Pisces/6th house helps w/that).. Mars / Cancer/9th also means standing up for intellectual and compassionate communication relating to the planet and vulnerable life while trying to master keeping a sheath on my sharp tongue. LOL!

Thank you for this! I have Mars in Cancer in my natal chart and I am learning that this planet is kind of a big deal for me. Difficult, to say the least, but this kind of teaching is SO helpful! My daughter has this placement too and yes, we are moody to say the least! Last year the solar eclipse touched my Mars and I met my current love shortly thereafter. This year, the lunar eclipse opposes it. Should be an interesting summer lol 🌈

This transit I experienced 2 relapses, many all nighters, a few benders and my mother who is a natal mars in cancer fell in the shower and re-injured her knee then was sic for days..... wow I wasn’t there to comfort her but I was in spirit. We’ve really plunged underwater, lucky in mars ruled sun moon & ascendant I can withstand.

I wonder if you'd be willing to consider using rationales that aren't season/hemisphere specific, because it would make the concepts more accessible/logical for your global audience (NZ here). I understand that the archetype stays true regardless of the hemisphere. Chris B and co said other rationales are available - the Thema Mundi (?) etc. It just helps those of us in other countries. I found your explanation about the zodiac, MC and planetary motion hard to follow for a similar reason (in a couple of other videos) - I think it was all facing south, while we look north to the sun - so it all got too confusing. Would Jupiter in Libra (ascendant) square Mars in Cancer make the Mars more difficult, or make it more beneficial? (I'm thinking because Jupiter is exalted in Cancer the square could make Mars more positive?) Love your videos, I've been learning so much. Thank you!

There is “mutual reception” with Mars in the Moon’s sign (Cancer) and the Moon in a Mars ruled sign (Aries). They can assist one another to express their natural significations with respect to 3rd house topics (siblings, early learning, communication, daily routines) and 12th house topics (isolation, self-undoing, institutions, spiritual practice, transcendence). The 12th House makes a “whole sign” square aspect to the 3rd House. Possibility for friction, challenge, conflict and also potential catalyst for growth surrounding these topics. Squares are said to be “of the nature of Mars” in traditional astrology.
