I agree! That is pretty painful when you are in the heat of the moment, a little slip from R to E can happen to anyone. The best way to overcome this is to remap your aircraft key for exit vehicle to something far away from the keys you use (I mapped mine to J) it will still be E for when you are infantry and tanks etc if you want it to be, but just for exiting the aircraft it can be something totally different.

Scythe using all the tactics from my Advanced Flight Tutorial, acting as a support role for ground assault and removing air targets when they try to cause trouble. One of the best bits of advice is not to move too far into enemy zones due to your lack of armor (unless you are sneaking to cap points and cut off territory)

At the moment playing on US2 Leda, although I'm not based in the US! and I agree, the Liberator bombing runs are a lot of fun, the sound and impact of that big gun are sweeet

The mouse has binding by default, haven't had to set it, but you can invert it if need be. It used to be easy to spot enemy pressing Q, but this has gone on and off during beta, I usually use Q to spot friendlies and anything that doesn't come up blue I shoot.

A lot of clips from the beta, but everything still applies, had about 65 kills in an hour from air the other night, I think the AA isn't as evil as it used to be (or maybe people weren't using it very well, either way, I was happy)

I haven't noticed any major changes on the release of planetside apart from a little more balance (for a while anti-air was over powered during beta)

Hey riggers, thanks for the tutorial, while i am by no means a good pilot after following your basic tutorial i am doing alot better, can actually get a couple of kills now and again now.. just need to learn how to lead a target now..

It can still be friendlies... :) That's the weird thing. I don't know why, but at the moment it's inconsistent. Sometimes they show up blue, sometimes not, then you shoot at them, and then you discover you shot a friendly!

I have 2 questions though (if you can be bothered to answer): - how can I bind an action (say, yaw) to mouse x axis (because simply clicking on the action on the keybindings list and moving the mouse doesn't register); - how can I spot enemies on the ground from far enough to have the time to turn and shoot?

Does a mosquito have more than one weapon? If yes how do you switch? Also: I saw a lot of single aircraft doing a lot of damage with a rocket barrage. What weapon are they using?
