Planetside 2 - Reaver Dive Bomber Tips

hey guys i need help, ground units dont appear until im under 200meters off the ground, im running everything on max, so why does it take forever for them to show up? in this video, he can see them all the way from 555meters high, as seen at 5:45, do i have to equip somthing to make this work?

I use Dogfight frame 2, and Nano repair (max) as upgrades. I think that the upgrades depend a lot on personal preference, play style and even input method. For example, I use the dogfight frame because I like to incorporate a more traditional turning fight style into my dogfighting and I think the frame fits my input method (joystick) very well. The increased yaw of the dogfight frame that some people have problem to get used to is easy to control with the twisthandels analog axis input.

Render distance is different for inf and vehicles, tanks render pretty far and AA maxes as well if the game decides they are a thread to you. Inf does not render that far, they dont show up earlier than 200 meters at 5:45 either. How many players are in the are has an influence on it as well.

I tired all three, armor, nano repair and stealth. All are viable, but my personal favourite always wasthe nano repair,it fits my playstyle the best. Also, nano repair just got a big boost and is now extremly strong.

I prefer not having to land to repair and in some longer dogfights you start repairing up while fighting,which is also nice. I have armor certed as well and used it a while,but my results are simply better with nano repair. But, thats a personal preference, both is viable.

Have you ever tried going Vehicle stealth? I find it very useful when flying high, the probability of getting spotted decreases even more when you don't automatically show up on their radar.

There are too few skilled Vanu pilots, and when I'm providing air support I'm usually on my own, no friendlies come help me when I'm being chased by several Mosquitos, and nobody pulls a burster MAX because I guess they figure I have it covered. Supporting ground troops from the air is great but it shouldn't be one way... air is so underappreciated :/

Well if you do anything else you'll basically be shot down by anti air or even some land vehicle weapons. You basically gotta outfly the guns to even do damage as strafing runs do sadly pitiful damage. Honestly, IMO, the game needs an outright damage boost on literally everything.
