@@yanlexime personally I do like the nc gauss compact. It always felt more useful when being a little assault and clicking heads from roofs. Still on closer range the trac s is probably better.

As a maniac who actually aurauxiumed the TRAC-5S and T1S Cycler, I have to say that they are "fine". Their only drawback compared to the TRAC-5 and T1 is that they lose 50rpm. That's it. Other than that, they definitely feel better to use. I don't feel like I'm fighting the gun as much when I use them. That being said, the TRAC-5S (and any carbine with access to underbarrel grenade launchers) absolutely shines when used as an Engineer. You can spam them in hallway fights (I've gotten a lot of kills doing that), and they are shockingly good against vehicles (I've shot down a Scythe with one). On Light Assault, the S-variants suffer because they don't complement the LA's role of speed. But on Engineer, you can stay back and support.

That's fair, I just think they're still downgrades compared to the normal variants. Definitely agree on feeling like they fight you less, though. Would still like to see S variants get their directive versions' gimmicks (impulse on carbines, cure/incendiary on ARs, and maybe big mag/AP/shitty HEAT on the LMGs?)

@@yanlexi I won't disagree with that. There's no nice way to put it, they have less DPS than their normal contemporaries. I would Definitely would love to see the cure launcher on the T1S, because the grenade launcher is not worth it as a medic (although I could see the T1S + UBGL being a very unique weapon on ASP Engineer). When I unlocked the T1A Unity, I felt that the sheer utility of the cure launcher made the T1S otherwise irrelevant (aside from the obvious bonus that the T1A Unity also gets T1 rpm and a built in foregrip).

Ttk is king so that just makes anything with high Ttk feel kind of shitty

I mean, 698/143 is still Solstice level, which isn't TOO bad
