As someone who loved Zoo Tycoon as a kid, I feel so blessed to have this game as an adult. It took the concept of Zoo Tycoon and added modern tech and unbelievable customization.

I still have ZT2, but I couldn't manage to reinstall it after I got a new harddrive for my laptop this spring (four year old laptop with Windows 10), and I'm playing Prehistoric Kingdom which got me used to the same building system and customization as PZ. It's just hard to go back to the 2004-era of building when you have this. So I'm finally getting Planet Zoo this summer sale.

I know there’s a North America pack, but I’d seriously love to see a Canada pack 🤩❤️ we have some truly wonderful species associated with Canada: Vancouver island marmot, Kermode/ spirit bear, Canada lynx, wolverine, Peary caribou, eastern wolf, and moose of course! Of course some of these are found in the states as well, but many are more vastly populated in their northern ranges in Canada and are certainly associated with the country.

For next year, I feel like it’s time to start looking at the *BIG* options for DLC that everyone wants to see, so here’s my suggestions for what the next pack can be: *Aviary Pack* Bald Eagle Brown Pelican *OR* Bearded Vulture *(aka Lammergeier)* Great Horned Owl Indian Flying Fox Knobbed Hornbill Laughing Kookaburra Scarlet Macaw Toco Toucan At first, I was sold on the pelican, but a subscriber of mine told me that they more often appear in zoos as habitat animals, so perhaps the Lammergeier could be a better alternative. *Aquarium Pack* Beluga Whale Common Bottlenose Dolphin Giant Pacific Octopus Great Hammerhead Hawksbill Sea Turtle Japanese Spider Crab Reef Manta Ray Whale Shark Maybe Orcas can work in the Aquarium Pack somehow if handled respectfully, but I’m not sure if it’d be too controversial to have them in a game where they’re being displayed in zoos. The aviary pack is a must have! As much as I love planet zoo, it makes me sad that they dont promote birds a bit more (no, the peacock really isnt enough). Like.. Tbh I m not that sold on birds in general, but sometimes you just want them there. Not to mention that birds are so interesting and so diverzed. I really hope that someday we will be able to make our own volier or sum

@@martunas2558 there are no ‘better’ requirements. Dolphins could never be happy in captivity, even though it’s a game it wouldn’t be a good look considering how many dolphins are still abused today. I believe frontier has said that it’s not gonna happen so that’s good.
