OMG....totally listening to you while I PAY BILL...(UGH) AND, I had to stop and laugh when you talked about punching the covers on the wrong side! I just made a new set of covers. The front over is a cute champagne bottle! The back is says "Time to drink Champagne & Dance on the Tables" BUT.......UPSIDE DOWN!! Which I guess at least kinda fits! So glad that I am not the only one that has done this!!!!!

I totally have to go to your insta page and share with you THE BEST corner punch I have ever found! Random find on Amazon!! But the cost was super GREAT, and this BABY PUNCHES SO GOOD!! AND, has a bottom part to hold the scraps! LESS MESS!!! I will see if I can find the link, I bought it a couple years ago!

This is so pretty. I never thought about changing up for the seasons. I love it! Btw, I was told to also punch through several layers of wax paper after punching through several layers of foil to sharpen and clean up the punches...you may have done that though.

Did you find that it worked? I have try foil but saw no real results. I can onl imagin the wax paper would help coat the punches but I feel like WD-40 would work better if that is the goal.

I'm dealing with the same problems you are with the disc punch. Love that it can punch through laminate, but the stem is a little too thin, so you still end up having to use scissors to widen the stems to accommodate the thick material. I wish they'd revamp it to have a wider stem.

Was awaiting the Fall Refresh! 😀 Question: how do you get the colors to print so colorful/vivid on the white cardstock paper? I'm sure it depends on the printer, but do you print them from Adobe and if so what print quality settings do you prefer?

Well, I have a laser print which will tend to have more vibrant prints then an inkjet, so don’t have to do much with my print settings. I usually just select heavy paper and that usually does it. I print from adobe Acrobat/Reader but I don’t think that has an impact on the print quality.

Nope, just 2x using 5 mil laminating sheets.

What kind of disc do you use? I have the same amount of sections and I do use a couple extra sheets in each section - for goals, faith, journaling, etc... but it's always almost too much but you have everything you need plus the thick dashboards! Just wondering how you work your magic in making it all fit.

I am currently using expander discs from the happy planner (1.75”) but if those seem too big for you, I can recommend using 1.5” rings from Arc by Staples. They are perfect in between size when you outgrow the classic happy planner 1.25” rings but don’t need to go full expander size. I really loved that size the year I used them. 😁👍

I don't, but you could scale up the pages to 120% to get a letter size print without losing too much quality.

I’m interested in making my own planner covers, and not have to rely on Happy Planner for something cute. I’m curious to know how you were able to put your logo on the back of your cover. Please forgive me if that’s a silly question, but I’m soooo not literate with things like this. TIA

I use InDesign to set up and customize my covers. Not sure if that answers your question, but hope it helps.

@@squairdplans I was raised in Alaska. So have totally done COLD!! Now live in Seattle, WA area. So, we do have a certain percentage of CLOUDY GLOOMY weather! But it does make our sunny days that much better, because things are green and LUSH!!!

@@kimberlymacandog7616 Small world. I am from Alaska originally, too. And have lived in the PNW (Portland, OR) so I don't miss the gloomy weather. Summer is definitely the best up there! So beautiful, but you have to pay for it with drizzle and gloomy most of the year.
