You commented about Gas prices in Australia, one way to save 8 cents a liter is to join Woolworths everyday rewards program and after you spend $30 in the supermarket you get 4 cents off a liter and another 4 cents when you spend another $5 at the petrol stand [ eg buying milk] You can also earn Qantas frequent flyer points. There is another way to get into airport lounges and that by having a charge card like Diners which gives you world wide access ,A friend of mine does this . You mentioned points redemptions for flights , personally its much better value to get redemptions in premium cabins

Not suprised with that $200 estimated Uber fare. Uber have been copping a lot of heat here in Melbourne with bumping up their fares, taxis are now usually the cheaper option. I now check both the Uber & taxi company apps before booking.... Though the Skybus is still the cheapest city-airport option, especially if you have 3 or less travelling together.

Yep, wear your heaviest clothes and stick the heaviest things in your pockets. Also there are the things you are currently using that you are "holding in your hands" therefore aren't part of the weigh in (mobile phone, ipad, charger, purse), then all back in the bag after the weigh in. Your Mum has the right idea. Hope lovely Singapore is everything you want it to be, and more.

I always travel lightly by buying all of my clothes including shirts, undershirts, underwear, shorts, pants etc in the location I am staying in, then just wash them there for as long as I am staying, then I either donate it or toss it out at the end of my stay. I consider it a convenience tax for travelling super lightly and comfortably. I typically only end up spending $50-100 so it’s worth it for me.

Yes the paperwork is a nightmare. The SG Arrival Card is a bugger. Even though the government web site says "Step 3: Fill SG Arrival Card up to 3 days before arrival" when it should be stating " Step 3: Fill SG Arrival Card up WITHIN 3 days before arrival". Not sure if I have stuffed something up but it appears you can't save your profile then fill out the rest within 3 days of departure. Anyhoot...great video guys and gals. Hope you all have a great time in Singapore. The best news was when they gave the option of PCR or ART. PCR is like a medieval torture so I booked the instant ART became an option.
