I am a bit confused why you got 27225 F instead of an Adverse

While calculating the MATERIAL USAGE Planing & operational variance Why did we Use Std Cost of $5 instead of $4.85( revised)?? Shouldn't the Std cost change to $4.85 cuz its revised & updated ????

There are two ways of calculating planning and operational variance which give different answers (although both ways are accepted in the exam). The way you describe is the way that the previous examiner preferred. However the current examiner prefers the way I do it in my lectures (which is also easier and quicker).
