a lock in the family parameter will also limit the "jumping" of the measurements. And it will block you from changing the value on that dimentions. I have sometimes a "Full_Lenght" connected to ref.lines as well as other dimensions connected to that lines. when I like to have the smaller dimenions going with the changing and not change the size I use to lock the values of that smaller dimensions.

by the way pyrevit 2023 can run on 2024 very easliy just by adding in the config file if(REVIT2023 || REVIT2024) ....

It is possible to have 1 profile transforming into multiple profiles thru mathematical equations for example I made a door jamb single profile to be either single rabbet double or no rabbet profile families are extremely powerful

You can associate parameters from the nested profiles to adjust the dimension

There are no nesting of anything just parameters formulas

It is also possible for example to have a rectangular and a U shape profile in one singular profile family I’m amazed with profile families power

@@ibrahimantonios it is possible to have different profiles load in the family. but the profile for sweep you cant assign to a parameter to show up in the project and avaliable for changings
