I love the light blue cat snowmen fabric! So cute!

Isn’t it cute? It was for a special bag I did for a yarn dyer and pattern company limited group. I found it on Spoonflower.

Another lovely letter to Santa. I couldn't have asked it better myself. Haha. Oh and seriously I can just watch a long video of you going through your stash and talking about the fabrics.

Oh gosh I though this one would be so boring. 😂ok let’s go through my stash! I need to sort it a bit.

The blue basket with bird lining needs to be for you Saremy! It's a great combo and you clearly love that fabric. Loved seeing your stash. Would jump at more stash content - your 5 oldest fabrics, 5 weirdest fabrics or whatever.

These are interesting ideas! Thanks. I’m surprised my stash could be interesting. But I certainly have a lot of content for that 😉

Yeah, see, I like seeing the pattern testers in the listing instead of linked in a separate post. I want to see it made by real people in lots of sizes. I don't like when you just see the designer or just a model in the listings. One test I did they required (or strongly suggested) a picture in front of a white background. my only option was my laundry room. I also like when the testers show videos in which they move. You can definitely tell things aren't pinned or tucked just so or hidden.

I agree actually. I don’t like seeing the designer. At all. 😂 I’m instantly suspicious if they are the model. But I don’t trust all testers. Also, paying for sewing work, like paying someone to make one of each size in the same fabric across all sizes and modeling them on different sizes is ideal. And paying for sewing work is so important. Or paying the testers! But maybe providing them with three options of fabric so they have some choice and there’s cohesion in the photos and size comparison.

I'm all in for this Santa letter! At least we have IG to see way more of than we used to but also I don't like IG or FB to find info.

I'm loving this! I got this pattern last year thinking how useful such a thing would be, and how cute you could make it. Thanks for the motivation to get going on it!

Agreed. Tester photos are often deceptive. The fabric choices and weird poses make me suspicious sometimes. I just wanna see it made with nondistracting fabric and simple standing views.

I totally agree. Maybe a company could even provide three choices of fabric, send them to testers, and pay them!

Me, very preggers, thinking the basket looks very cute and trying to think of a use for it so I will have an excuse making one, and just at that moment "set up for like a baby changing table"... IT'S A SIGN!! 😂❤😊

It IS a sign!!!! The gal at the shop that gave it to me to sew even said she’s sewn several as baby shower gifts!

I remember wanting to see more details on a dress I saw on instagram, but the woman who made it kept dancing on the post never stopping even for one second, I got a headache trying to figure out what the dress look like. It's her account and she definitely free to post whatever she wanted on it, but I wished to see a photo of the dress.

Big red flags! I won’t give money to someone if they can’t show me what I’m buying. We invest time and material and anguish in a project.

The bird fabric is really lovely, I have not seen that at Liberty's, how old is it? Or can you not say!
@SewSewLive

I found it at Duckadilly! They specialize in Liberty imports to the US. I’m sure it can be found! It’s called Ornithology. It isn’t new but I still see it for sale on the internet.
