Conor Crickmore quit his job in the city and moved to the country. There he started an organic farm from scratch and never looked back.
His farm became super successful due to his simple systems. He now works to help small farms succeed. His a well known educator throughout the world in small scale market farming and has been very successful at earning a good living growing vegetables on a small plot. He farms without a tractor and uses mostly hand tools.

Super helpful! This is my first winter with a cold tunnel. Very productive considering we decided to put it up late September but some things have been slow because of late start. Will be better planned next summer. Love all your experience and ideas.

Love the video... and the best part is definitively the interruption at 9:33! I see the legit happiness that we've all experienced when finding a long-lost tool. Well played keeping that in!

Actually here in japan celery stalks are usually sold individually. So I've been doing it two winters now and I'm the only local farmer doing it so it's one of my best crops.

Lived in China and fell in love with tatsoi and one other plant similar tasting to it, in Chinese it translated to chicken feather vegetable, but not sure of it's really name

I tried starting celery twice already starting last week of June, then again 20 days later, both fails. Am I too late to start them again for winter/even early spring production, I'm in Maryland going into second season going year round, super appreciate your free lessons, as soon as we are able to get that kind of money together I will be taking your course.

Thank you very much for the videos and your channel, sir. A quick question if you have time: Once your farm gets to a certain size, such as yours has, are you able to take time off for vacation or camping etc? Or are you tied to the farm 24/7/365? Thanks in advance.

Very cool. Two questions. Does Red Russian kale over winter well. Have you had any luck with the late season into winter with the Russian and Siberian bred tomatoes?. Supposed to be 65 days and very cold hardy.

Conor you said carrots seeded around Thanksgiving might be ready in April, are you using a bolt resistant variety as my experience is that they will bolt if planted earlier than december
@NeversinkFarm

@@NeversinkFarm interesting, I trialed an option Nantes type and some mokum mid November and the Nantes bolted badly but the few mokum that germinated didn't bolt, I am going to use gold finger this year as I have heard great things and it is also bolt resistant. Supposed to be as good tasting as mokum and about as quick to mature but double the yield in trials with stronger tops
