This is how I imagine Amazon's senior management to be like.

Good scene from a very good and underrated episode of Doctor Who. Good cast and Tom and Louise were excellent in this.

Yes, Tom Baker and Louise Jameson were brilliant together. And I love this story, for two main reasons. One, it gives Leela a lot of character development, and some real time to shine. And two, because it is actually relevant to our daily lives.

Definitely not underrated.

It will be released later this year And there are plenty of Doctor Who stories as yet unrelased on DVD, but they're getting there.

He did get to keep his money, since the bounty was never paid. What's more he even got some frequent flyer miles in the end, and he wasn't even angling for it!

Fair point; given the Collector's evident obsession with money, that view on the Doctor's actions WOULD fit his personality...

Indeed, I think the Doctor loves subversion in general ;)
@MarcusSLazarus15 жыл бұрын
I'd hardly say the Doctor has a history of 'economic subversion'; he never got involved with ANY problem for economic reasons. (You have to wonder if that guy insists on getting addressed with titles such as 'Hugeness' to compensate for his own short size)
@roberthaworth90976 жыл бұрын
As their plans go farther south and the Collector's grip on power starts to slip, Hade's mode of addressing him becomes more backhanded -- e.g., "Your Grandiosity", etc.

@Gil Gunderson True, but those are never the final goal, and most of the time it's only 'unfair' to the people he's deposing rather than the general populous
@morbius1099 ай бұрын
I think the Collector merely tolerated the titles. He never says anything of it, but I suspect he knew Hade was being obsequious.
