Colleen, I know people keep complaining about you talking about pregnancy, but I just want you to know that your actually helping and giving a lot of people knowledge of pregnancy. It’s actually good to know that not all pregnancy goes perfect or well, your pregnancy shows that it can be really hard to deal with and your giving people courage as well because your showing people they can fight through it because at the end of it, your getting they joy of your life 💕 your really really strong. People don’t understand that your are dealing with this pain nonstop for months, not even getting a break when you sleep it’s continuous, your really strong for that. Why isn't someone throwing you a shower? Do other people give themselves showers? I've never heard of that before? I'm genuinely curious..... in my circle of friends and family my whole life the shower has always been planned (with some input from mom to be if they want) by the grandma to be or aunt to be or by the new mom's friends. It's a lot of work for a pregnant lady to have to deal with..........

Have you thought get about having a Blessing Way? It's a gathering of close family & friends to bless the mother before she gives birth. (It doesn't have to be religiously aimed) It's to pamper & empower the mother before birth. It also shows her how much she's loved & how much help she has if she needs it. Traditionally it's thrown by a close friend or family member. All the activities are there to pamper the soon to be mom (so hand/foot messages, brushing her hair, stories, words of encouragement, advice passed, ect). My (roller) derby sister threw one for our pregnant teammates. It was a wonderful and empowering experience. I've got more info if this is something you'd be interested in. Love you Colleen!

WELL a pregnancy is for 9 months ... you are pregnant for 9 months but the doctors say that a pregnancy is 40 weeks (10 months) because they calculate from the start of your last period.. That's all. That's why, when most women find out they're pregnant, they are already 5-6 weeks pregnant.

9 months is when you're full term and can safely deliver (36 - 42 weeks), and 40 weeks is when delivery typically is (which is 10 months).

Nah, it's just that there are more like 4.5 weeks in a month not just 4. So dividing the 40 weeks by 4isnt an accurate calculation. Pregnancy is only 9ish months. Which is 40weeks.

She had like campfire snacks (two ghramcrackers connected by frosting like tents, and mini s’mores) and she put cute lil mooses everywhere and it was so cute!! Like this so she can see.
