My aunt has been living in Rome for the last 30 years and I visited her in May of 2019. It was pretty cold at night time and during the day it was bi-polar. I believe in December it will be colder. I would pack up some warm sweaters and cardigan, a jacket, a hat, and nice leather gloves. Scarf too.

The black coat is definitely not too warm for Venice. I have been in Venice in November before and it is frigging cold. Have fun, i love Italy and go there every year at different seasons. Greetings from Germany.

Hahahaha you look so summery and i’m currently in Spain with a t-shirt, a turtleneck, a sweater, and a woolen blanket on AT HOME! 😮💨 places in the south of Europe are sometimes not properly isolated from the cold so I’d be sure to pack something warm. I’ve also lived in Northern Europe and I can tell you that mediterranean winters are cold and damp 😮💨

Rome is my hometown and I hope you enjoy your time there. The Non-Catholic Cemetery is definetly an interesting place to visit. And if you find yourself missing Calcifer in Rome by the Fori Imperiali in Largo di Torre Argentina there’s a cat rescue, which if I remember correctly can now be visited. Enjoy your time in Italy and I’m looking forward to your Italian vlogs. ❤

Hey Emmie! I have a family member that’s currently suffering with a concussion that sounds very similar in terms of symptoms to yours. They’re very sound and light sensitive. To help with the sound sensitivity, they wear earplugs. They use the Loop brand earplugs and they really like them. I also use them when I go to spin class (can’t deal with how loud the music is but spin is just so fun for me) and they work great to dampen the loud sounds, but you can still hear what people are saying if they’re talking. Hope this helps! Enjoy your time in Italy!!

"Cimitero acattolico" (the non-catholic cemetery) in Rome is so beautiful. 💗 There's no entrance fee but they ask you to donate even a few euros so that they can keep on taking care of it. Highly recommend. There's also Keats-Shelley house to visits, the house where Keats died - that's also beautiful

Jumping on this comment just to say Venice is cold and wet! I was watching her pack sandals and light clothes and was thinking "this is not enough!" IDK how the cold in Toronto feels but when you're surrounded by water, it gets into your bones. Other than that, I know you're gonna love it. And, if you can, try to wander aimlessly around the city, you're gonna find the sweetest shops and galleries that otherwise fly under the radar. Happy travels!

Hi Emma, I hope you enjoy my home country a lot! I love the outfits try on ✨ But just a heads up: it's supposed to get wetter and colder in the near future here in central italy (I'm in Rome). And I'm sure loads of people told you already but you might need slightly warmer clothes, it's just 4-5° C warmer in Venice than in toronto, it's going to go below 0° C at night in a few days! 💛

Hey girl love your videos ❤ I lived in Italy for a while and my husband is Italian. Just wanted to recommend from one reader to another, stop by a Feltrinelli or Mondadori while your in Rome :) they are similar to a Barnes and Noble. Also you will need warmer clothes but if you have the space, buy clothes in Italy they have a lot of stylish clothes compared to the US in my opinion. Bring good shoes for the Roman Forum and Pompeii, seriously the streets there are no joke. Enjoy Italy! Eat and drink local to the city you are in. ❤❤❤

I have visited Italy in May and needed an overcoat and a hat, so you may well need the big black coat you're thinking about. Note that I'm from England and not Canada, so your tolerance for cold may well be more than mine. I think I needed the coat more because it was damp and humid than because it was really cold, though. Also I was only there for about four hours. Your mileage may vary, but in your place I would take the coat with me. I also have a Canon EOS (not the same one as you), and they are very good still cameras, especially at the price. I've never tried taking video with mine, though, so it's interesting to see how well yours has done in this video. Have you tried taking video of a moving subject?

Enjoy Italy: Ciao, bebe! As for the Beard history, She was one of my first favorites, she and Charles. Listening, I recalled an anecdote respecting notes. A Cabinet appointee from a President whose election I supported wrote a book on American history, which I followed very closely, agreeing with nearly every paragraph. When I got to the endnotes tho it was the same 3 or 4 primary histories quoted nearly ver battim, and I was like oh, well, I was kind of hoping for something a little more original. Nevertheless, the imprimatur stamp of the party in power does actually mean something. Oh well. Enjoy!
