Excited to see a new video so soon! I absolutely love your content and knitwear style. I´m very inspired to try and design something more cutesy for myself. And there is no such thing as too much yarn, as long as you´ll eventually use it.

Hahahh that is true! *insert the limit does not exist mean girls meme* (but low key I fear reaching the point where I would not be able to knit it all 🥲) Good luck making your cutesy knits!

looking through stash is pretty successful, looking for gaps really puts the stash to the test. I've only got 2 sweaters Q sitting there but its waiting for something special to happen. I try to let my new project excitement lead the way so things get finished. So i try to wrap up everything before i go festival so i can come home and CO

That's a great method! You're motivated to finish your WIPs while also having the treat of a new cast on as a reward. Hope you're able to find the perfect projects for your sweater quantities ❤️

As someone in NJ and close to NYC, I appreciate the knowing the parking situation at yarn stores. 😂

You get it 😆 Nothing worse than showing up somewhere, only two find there are only 2 street parking spots, and they're always booked!!

I love these type of “take along” vlogs, it’s nice to see different fibre spaces! Also, adore your sweater in this video so much! Stripe sweaters intimidate me a bit, colour placement AND spacing is so much to think about 😂 I’m in the same boat about stash and having some anxiety about it becoming a burden. I’ve definitely had a splurge week (treating myself for graduating college) but I also feel like I am starting to top out my own tolerance for yarn babies judging me for not knitting them yet 😂😅

Congrats on graduation!! If you want a low stress striped sweater, I really enjoyed knitting the highline henley by Tori Yu last year! The pattern has instructions for 2 or 4 colors and everything will already be spaced out for you, so you don't have to think as much. Plus the shaping is really clever! You know exactly how I feel re stash 😭 I don't want to be neglecting any of my yarn babies 🥲

Mili, thank you so much for posting, loved this video! I don‘t live in the US so clearly I‘m watching this mostly for general yarny content. Still, I loved the information about parking because that is the sort of content that very much reminds me of every day life in the US and I also watch a ton of American knitting content to live my life vicariously through them. I used to live in Iowa and I thouroughly enjoy remebering the little things.

I had such a good time at this year’s NJ wool walk. I actually saw you at Yarnia! Unfortunately, I only made it to Yarnia, The local yarn store and Knit Knot and Natter. Love seeing all the great things you got!

@@HeavenleeMe Thank you for saying hi!! 🫶 Those three stores honestly had so many good sales and yarns, I would call it a successful wool walk 😉 Glad to hear you had a good time!

I’ve done a yarn crawl at least once. Since I haven’t been knitting as much as I assumed I would I haven’t gone out to buy yarn. I have shopped online though so that cuts into my budget from local stores. 😅 I’m tryin to use my purchases before buying more sweater quantities. It’s a bit rough. 😂

I feel you on the sweater quanities! I think having a sort of balance between the yarn entering stash/ leaving stash (via being knit up, destashing, etc) is good. My goal this year is to knit more yarn than I acquire 🧶
