On this episode of Planning Preview, City of Sioux Falls Senior Planner Jason Bieber and Sioux Falls Urban Planner Karla Resendiz discuss items on the Planning Commission Agenda for January 2025. Kevin Hoekman from the Minnehaha County Planning Office also joins the show to talk about the Envision 2045 Plan Update.
The Sioux Falls Planning Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council. The Commission creates and adopts a master plan for the physical development of the municipality and considers and makes recommendations on land use and zoning matters.
Sioux Falls Planning Commission Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Carnegie Town Hall (235 W 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
