This blows my mind how the US breaks there neck to help other countries when we have our own issues in the US.. They spending millions to help immigrants but we have homeless veterans, seniors & children in foster homes that need help. Hell just regular citizens struggling that can use that money. I work with an non profit organization that helps low income communities and we have to jump through hoops to get 1000, but just because they are immigrants they get resources..No sir/No ma’am!!

We had to/have been doing the exact same in TX after running out of rooms at our facilities at the border. We as well have been housing hundreds of thousands in huge tents & using sports stadiums (has much space & restrooms for BOTH sexes). We keep security/border patrol/law enforcement & etc rounding to maintain safety for ALL of us. It is incredibly difficult d/t the extremely vast numbers that are pouring in, which continues to increase, and having to keep in mind safety. We have teachers coming in for the children to start their education. They are pouring in illegally and we are doing the best that we can. When my mother came LEGALLY because of the Korean War (her mom was S Korean & father Japanese) she got no help from our Gov despite true persecution. She and her family was beaten & basically exiled. She was in a small farm country and moved to Seoul at 14yo by herself so nobody knew who she was to get a job. She worked hard washing clothes, cleaning, and waiting tables. She sent money to her family and saved EVERY penny that she could before coming LEGALLY. These people are capable of doing the same. She got absolutely no financial aid/resources from the US Gov nor states. If a young persecuted woman can do it legally so can these people. It is unsafe & unsustainable for our country. I live here. My kids left. My friends kids...left. NY has become a crappy city run by crappy people who clearly dont care. Our Governor and Mayor were so desperate for federal funding, they thought this was the answer. These migrants come, leave garbage on the ground, drink, act like jackasses, hook up with the girls in the area leaving kids behind when they have no ties to the area. Just like the boys homes and city did in the 80s. That action brought the neighborhood down so far on the west side of town. Now they're trying to ruin the east side of town which we keep up HARD. So NO they're not just dumping migrants in our nice, hard working neighborhood. People who work show up and show out by the thousands. We're putting up and handing out flyers this week. No one was aware this was happening because people were busy working. ITS ON! Bigger protest about to happen and they will NOT live here quietly. They kicked out our vets. Our seniors are afraid to go to snap. There are 5 children's facilities within 1000 feet plus a high school full of teen girls. JUST NO.
