What temperature is considered warmed up for the zf? Mine has an external cooler with no fan and the zf sits at 55-65 degrees most of the time. I've never had it go past 82 degrees and I live in perth. Wondering if 55 degrees is too cold??

Mine don’t slip or shudder when cold . Might need to up the trans fluid pressure . Update the tune

This parts list is almost exactly the same as my FG only difference is I went external gate, mine makes 550whp been running flawlessly everyday for almost 2years.

Check your engine mounts.. Mine had same problems i thought id broken the box… Turns out mounts were flogged and allowing the engine to rock enough to shudder through the rest of the driveline

Might want to port that rear housing on that pulsar turbo or you will get boost creep , actuator is not a issue , just had my Ute tuned similar mods with standard intake , made 562 hp at the wheels on 19 psi , luv it got plenty for the street

@ yeh nice , also running a turbo smart drop in reg , return in fuel module will need to be modified

Did you get the converter split and cleaned when the box was out, cause that would’ve told you if it had bent fins causing the shudder

Hey with lowering it get the leafs reset don't run block especially if you'll be towing and have power

Zac mate, use Aussie made performance parts where you can, Davies Craig for cooling, pwr, plazmaman etc... the chinesium crap will always let you down at some point. Do you have the thermostat bypass in the zf?

R&S hasn't got a clue how to build these ZFs. You should have gone to DSR. The shudder will not go away with a tune. It will always be there. Its the way they have built the gear box

1808 will be fine. Why would you run higher spring pressure if you don’t need it. Head studs distort the bores, why would you run head studs when clearly you don’t need it. I went with PWR heat exchanger with no issues.
