Plans for Singapore’s second marine park in Lazarus South, Kusu Reef

Singapore may be getting a second marine park, offering people a glimpse of the rich biodiversity that lies under the sea. National Development Minister Desmond Lee announced plans to designate the southern part of Lazarus Island and the reef off Kusu Island as the Republic’s second marine park on May 9. The boundaries of the proposed park are expected to be finalised in 2025.
