Absolutely beautiful soil. I have planted my first food plots this year using green cover seed fall release plan on planting summer release for the warm season. Your progress is very inspiring. My property is near Andalusia Alabama and Absolutely loaded with deer. Hopefully I can improve their health for many hunting season to come.

@@PineyGroveHomestead I don’t doubt it. Glad they are growing and feeding those dear for sure. Can’t wait to see more videos on the house build and everything else you guys have going on. Keep up the great work, we might be needing your “consultation” services if we get this 10 acres we are looking at. 😆

Have you tried tilling brassica
@PineyGroveHomestead Жыл бұрын
You can't because they go too deep. Put them on top of the tilled land and then roll or drag over them.

How deep do you till the seed in
@PineyGroveHomestead Жыл бұрын
The depth of the tiller....2-3". The seeds are put on the mowed ground then run the tiller at normal depth. The seeds all end up in the seedbed behind the tiller, some are deeper than others, but we get a high germination rate.
