You joke about us sitting around wondering "when will Hazel finally post that plant propagation video..." but the truth is, some of us do! Always look forward to snuggling up with a cup of tea and your dulcet tones, even when you're talking about a movie I'll probably never watch? Quality content all the same. Hope you're happy and well!

I really was looking forward to this video, and it did not disappoint. I love that you have found a way to make videos combining your passions - plants and movies, or decorating - it's all great.

This is so pleasant to watch tbh. I recently propagated my alba sundew when it split at the root, I have two now - I also have a fern that split off from my mum's big fern downstairs 😊

It is so satisfying see new root come out of a cut stem. Propogated rubber plant a while back and was just in disbelief when it actually worked! Also I am thinking I will get a snake plant now!

I love this i work in propergation at a nursery, so calming to losten to. You can purchase hormon powder/gel which speeds up the process. Also fun fact they do some prop in a lab they take a sliver of stem or leaf and grow it in a hormon bath in a dish its so fascinating 🥰

All the cute plants, they are so sweet. I would get some plants and I’ve done a plant sale before but I don’t trust myself with them as I don’t think I would look after them well enough!! Hopefully this video gives me some idea of how to actually care for them and I’m going to have to do some research too. Thanks for this Hazel and I’m sorry the soil went everywhere. Hope it was easy to clean up!!!!

It looks like your pothos propagation may possibly be developing root rot because of the dark coloured roots and bottom of stem, make sure not to leave them in water for too long! You can check by seeing if the roots of soft and mushy and have a bad smell

Hated the Joss Whedon cut, didn't like the weird things he did with Wonder Woman, ala flash falling on her boobs etc. (Also never really liked Whedon especially with claims coming out against him in recent history.) Loved the Snyder cut, its theme and colour compared to Whedon's was so much more appealing. I also 100% agree that Snyder is a bit marmite-y. Luckily I love Marmite 😂 loved the discussion about it. Would love to see you chat about Army of the Dead ❤ Slán leat!

The pothos help the other plants develop roots because the hormones needed for it are universal, and they disolve in water. Pothos plants don't flower naturally, and only propogate, so they make more of the hormone than most other plants :)

Firstly, The cut's only groundbreaking in terms of movie genre, secondly WB exploited a personal situation the director had been involved with instead of just saying no to his release, thirdly as much as they & DC rushed with this cinematic universe, it occurred to me that had Aquaman happened before Justice League they would've had the same number of films made before their big number like MCU did with the avengers so it wouldn't have felt too forced and i say this as someone who prefers marvel to dc but would still believe they can make a good live action film. We've seen it before a few times & everyone now just needs to agree on what they want in a good dc live action film

You're not supposed to talk about big Marvel films. They are supposed to be entertaining for the widest possible audience and they get the job done. It doesn't matter if they are good or not because they aren't supposed to be good, they have a big budget and will entertain you (suicide squad is terrible but we enjoyed it). Anything in the media that talks about the quality of Marvel films is just a meaningless industry formality that sells the Marvel films. People only care about the quality of Justice League on a really fucking superficial level when you think about it. It's not an inspiring story of triumphant heroism, it's just stupid movie magic. Compare the task of reviewing a shakespeare play, or even a harry potter film, to a shit like Justice League. The former two stories are meaningful, you probably have lots to say about how they speak to your life personally. But the best Marvel can do is break old sexist stereotypes because audiences won't accept it anymore and sell it as empowering even though the story is still empty and all the film making aspects that you're enjoying are way more enjoyable in other better films. You probably haven't even heard of let alone watched the tv show Legion which is the only genuinely good live action Marvel thing I've ever seen, and that's a shame. It's fun to nerd out about famous characters and stuff but maybe it's worth taking the time to find the gold out there instead because maybe you'll find actually meaningful conversations to have about it. Just saying. Big budget Marvel films should just fucking stop, even the good ones I don't care, much better films do all the same things and we shouldn't give a platform to all the shit that we're conditioned to buy even though we probably wouldn't if it wasn't so normalised because it's all objectively dumb.
