Plant Onions from Seed this Fall! 🌱 Easy Steps for a Bountiful Harvest!

Thanks for vid! I planted onions from starters last year and they did awesome! But ima try seed this year since I collected some. Do I have to plant seeds in small containers? Or Can I just throw em n grow em in the raised bed they’re going in? Whatcha think?

You can plant the seeds directly into the soil, but the issue I always had here in El Paso with our heat, is keeping the soil moist for the time it takes to germinate anything. Even 1 day when I forget to water, everything dies. I have good success with starting most of my plants from seed. If you have the time, try to direct seed. You could even do a video (hint hint... 😁) and try both methods and see if there is a difference in your harvest! Thanks for watching and happy gardening!
