hmm, so some operators issue work permits to contractors? at my plant the supervisors are in charge of that and we just make sure the isolation/ system is safe with a zone of peotection, but we don’t check on them when they’re working. However, there was a time when an operator checked the leads on some chargers and found they could’ve been shocked with 250V if they weren’t stopped

Your not gonna die, pay attention to everything you do and think about what you are doing like the video said. Listen to your senior operators and you'll be fine

What name the company and where the location? I really interested to join with you.i had more than 15 years in field operating processes.

those jobs are next to impossible to get. You gotta have 15+ years of experience and even then good luck
@jfri923 жыл бұрын
No, you don't lmao. You need a Ptech degree. Get experience at small plants then move to big ones. It's not that hard. I was an operator for Ineos for 6 years and did 3 years at a smaller batch plant before that. You just need a good resume and good interview skills. There's better degrees to get though.

@@jfri92 I can agree with this. I’m 2 months into my first industrial job working at a chemical plant mixing and making products for the oil field (clay break, iron fix, etc.) and experience is definitely preferred. The only reason I was hired was because I had connections within the company and small history with the people in the office over the course of 3-4 years. I did get the job and it’s a lot of fun, granted I’m starting out at $13.75 instead of $15 but 80 hours a week ain’t bad at all

I got in with no experience fresh out of school as my first job ever. Just have to apply and practice those aptitude test its definitely possible.

Lol I got my job ASAP. No interview just my application and my drug test. I work 13 hours all week and weekend. And never had experience in any plant. I mix chemicals etc, easy work the pay is good. All they told me is you ready to work and I said hell yeah boom. Love it

@tomakaw12 жыл бұрын
yes it will be more and more automated, but plants will still need field operators and control room operators that control that automation.
