Plant Room Installation - DAB Esytank - Navien Boiler - Unvented Cylinder

Another New project begins!
This time we are starting in the plant room. In this listed Farm House that has been built by the clients ancestors, we will be installing a complete plumbing and heating system. Starting in the plant room with a Navien LCB700 system boiler, a DAB Esytank, Esybox and unvented cylinder. In this episode we show you how we will be installing these components and reasons for doing so.

What a job pipe porn nice to see some engineer love a bender and press just makes a job much nicer.. Love a bit Williams stock also 😆, Stuart pump, Mag filter I use same, but I also use same low loss sometimes and that AAV on top on low loss is evil😆 always leaks to death so I usually change to Flamco.. But again nailed that room. Interest some feedback on Navien boiler, when I worked in US years ago they told me is crap and support also crap in US.. but I really don't fit many so I dunno how is works out in UK.

Thanks I will keep an eye out on those aavs! Yea I think the Navien gas boilers in America get some stick. Pretty sure they are different models over here .

Just wondering why you didn’t insulate the Esytank? Is there a risk of bacteria, especially if sited next to the cylinder which presumably gives off some heat?

Thank you. Yes so far they have been great. Only installed oil boilers so far. No Navien gas boilers yet .

Can you put those boosters in loft spaces if space is an issue?

You could do. But weight is the main issue. Close to 500kg.

Hi. I really like the oil boiler. I come from a gas boiler background so they are more familiar to me than the traditional oil boilers. They seem way more advanced than the other brands. long warranty and good engineer support
