Plant Servants Deck Profile - JULY 2015 FORMAT!!!

I am digging this updated Skull Servant deck. It has plenty of changes, especially the trap and extra deck line up that make it quite consistent and more versatility to counter play. Showing greater possibilities for Skulls to be more fun and competitive as the game progresses into the future. Thank you for the profile, I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it inspiring to pick Skull Servants up again.

After testing this, I found that it worked extremely well. However, I'd make a couple of changes, mainly to the extra deck. But starting with the main deck, I'd definitely cut the 3rd Wightprince. It's really easy to resolve it twice, and that's possible even with one copy since you can bring it back with Mezuki and Debris Dragon. I found the third (or sometimes even the second copy) to be dead card in hand way too often. As for what I'd replace it with, Soul Charge would be pretty broken for a deck that can fill the grave quickly and make strong synchro plays. Now as for the extra deck, considering the presence on the plant engine, it would be a crime to not run Librarian. It's extremely easy to make and can get you some really nice draws, and allows for a couple really great Quasar combos. Speaking of which, I'd also add that. Lastly, as some have already pointed out, you can make Nat Beast with Mezuki + Bulb, which is not really that hard to access, so I'd definitely run it.

For your Discard Traps, you could try out Recurring Nightmare to make plusses.

have you considered oasis of dragon souls? bring back lady in wight in defense in response to either a weak attack, or an effect that would remove your king from the field. also, she's 2200 defense, so she can stop an attack from winda, which seems like it could be a pretty relevant play depending on how prevalent shaddolls become.

nice idea with the debris dragon! did you try to play 'where arf thou' or mistake in the main? cards like where arf thou can help you to search the wightmare straight away for a lady play. you could also search a wightprince to discard it with uni zombie or your traps or just search a king late game. it kinda works well with your plant engine since glow up bulb and dandylion tokens are lvl 1. personally i like to play this particular deck as a 60 card deck. you have so many tutors in your deck to dump the mezukis or wights (arma,math,uni-zombie,maybe grepher) and it kinda reduces the chance to draw into your 2 skull servants or lady in wights. you can really put in complete engines like malicious / plague, plant, clownblade etc.

Why not play book of life? I find it more useful than Mazuki because it can also banish your opponents card, and it saves a normal summon, I save my discard targets for "skull servants". And good old Soul Release vs. Karma Cut for the budget players.
