What a fun day! I love that place as it's super close to my house, and my band has even done a couple gigs at their brewery which is at the very end of the inside shopping area. Great food & great atmosphere, but of course any place with all those plants is paradise!

Awe, I got something in my eye while watching or my allergies were acting up, lol. Yeah, what a great day with your Lil Sis, good on you Robbie! As one myself, of 4 big brothers, I so cherish my times nowadays even more, mostly out in nature. Those memories with my favorite though, yeah, I said it. Even still, were the bestest, uhhuh, he had the patience for all my trapesing through gardens around the world. My Moms memory in my garden is like that beautiful blossoming tree. I love High Hand. I’m in Sacramento and I don’t get out there enough. There is another nursery in Loomis that is worth checking out if you back again. I believe it’s called the Flower Farm. It has a cafe, gift shop and wine tasting.

I live in Tokyo, Japan and I thought it was so funny that Japanese maple trees are not that expensive around here, but the blue spruce tree you pointed out that you said it was $244 would cost well over $1000 here.

Robbie! Check out Mr. Maple. He's got a bunch of maples for cheap. They are little babies but there are so many kinds and what you're not paying for is time. I love that his website is easy to navigate and filter characteristics of the trees

Thank you for the informative tour! Enjoyed your video of both this nursery and Pottery World. We are looking for a very small wall fountain for a bit of extra ambiance at the front door entry and a back yard fountain for a new graveled rose bed that has a Canary Island date palm behind it with a succulent bed sheltered under it. We plan to drive out and make a full morning at each with an overnight hotel stay to explore and plan as it is a 2.5 hour drive out and would have our dogs with us. Outdoor patio lunch would be fabulous at High-Hand Nursery! Have you ever been to Absolute Fountain by Petaluma, CA?

I’m no judge of height but we planted a blue spruce in remembrance of my father-in-law about thirty years ago, it’s a majestic tree and I would guess it is at least 30 plus feet tall. We also planted one in remembrance of my father and it’s maybe 8 feet tall but it’s still beautiful! Both trees are a beautiful icy blue ❤️🌷💚🙃

I love that you show prices. I actually am always stunned at how inexpensive some of your outdoor plants are, trees and shrubs are a lot more here in Colorado but I’m guessing that is shipping and overwintering costs. I’m not a houseplant person bc my cat eats them, I have succulents bc she leaves those alone and I thought it was interesting how they seemed to cost alot more than the outdoor ones-58$ for that small plant seemed crazy but I know some monstera and other varieties are rare.

My lilac has started blooming, it’s been in the ground now for I THINK two years it still doesn’t have a lot of flowers but what it does have is a magical fragrance. I can’t imagine what it’s going to smell like next year 🤔 I’m sure is will be wonderful though ! I can’t remember it’s name but it’s a White Russian lilac and it’s supposed to be one of the most fragrant lilacs out there. 🌷💚🙃
