Awesome find. I found what looks like a Prince of Orange at Kroger, a local grocery store. It was marked down to 12.45, and huge. I returned the next day to see if it was still there. It was. I asked if they would be willing to sell it to me for 8 dollars, and they did.

I got a huge orbifolia. Yesterday the home depot had marked down syngoniums pink, orbifolias and philodendron imperial and ficus tinike for 7.50. Beautiful plants i got the orbifolia and tinike. So beautiful

Amazing price! It’s so beautiful. I have one too. I love it because it’s so strong and sturdy and it grows so fast. The downside is that it reverts. I have mine in the patio and it still reverted a little.

You got a fantastic deal in that plant my painted lady is a so small I have it in a self watering pot and I swear it’s taking forever to grow and I paid about 25.00 for it and it was a seedling I bought on Etsy. I haven’t found a Painted Lady locally yet.

Is there a reason this plant wouldn’t wrap around the pole and only grow straight up? Can it be guided in a circular growth pattern or not possible?

What a beautiful painted lady! I have one as well but it’s much smaller. It was $13. I believe it was discounted from $65. I have it under a grow light but sometimes I forget to turn it on during the day. I may move it to a window that has brighter light so it keeps the variegation and can grow bigger leaves. I have it on a moss pole but the new leaves are smaller. Not sure why 🤔

Hey neighbor! I live in Plantation 😊. I have a question for you since I’m new to introducing plants into my home. How do you keep them bug free? I was visiting one of the big box stores on University Dr. when I notice some bugs crawling around the indoor plants. How can I work to keep mine bug free? I would love some suggestions. Thanks so much!

Hi! I ALWAYS spray my plants down with the water hose with a little pressure to remove any bugs that may be on the plant. I then spray the plant down with Bonide Captain Jack's insecticidal soap and sprinkle Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control on the top of the soil and give it a light watering to get rid of any bugs in the soil. I always separate my new plants from the others for a few days to make sure if there are any bugs on it, they won't spread to my other plants. I hope this helps!
