Your webcam is a bit cloudy, I have a few Logitech C920 webcams, I could send you one for use of these blog/teaching videos. Free of charge, would hate to let them just sit here collecting dust when you may have use of it. Let me know.

That is AWFULLY GOOD of you! Perhaps a direct email or similar? I'm not sure how "in" his comments he is/can be... Regardless, SO GOOD of you! 🤩🤩🤩

Thanks! These are so great! I prefer the videos that open with you pissing on a fence, but these are really informative.

I watch this for breakfast while I eat my breakfast. I'm not even a student, but I found this to be another method to learning. The visuals & the words are very helpful. Thanks!

My high school biology teacher told us how to remember the female part of the flower: "pistil packin' mama." Mr. Desch, he's probably dead by now, won't mind if you use it. :)

Much appreciated! I am going for my CNPS field botanist exam next August and this helps keying. Also workshops for biologist are too damn expensive in California!

When I dream of what a sci-fi future could be like, I think about all the various fruiting plants that are too small to notice, being modified, spliced, and selectively bred until they're large like typical apples and oranges. Might not be able to shrink down and try all the bug favorites like in the movies, but am I crazy to think with enough financial backing, time, dedication, and space, that such a thing could be possible? Micro fruits brought up to a size acceptable to human standards for harvest and consumption?

Super useful! But I stilldon't know enough to confidently ID a plant. I wish there was a "20 questions" that would help pin down what subfamily any plant is from

this will likely be covered in the series but if you're impatient, look up "dichotomous keys" ;)

Just here asking since I really love your content, but this series is kind of buried in your other videos. If you could and I know you're not too savvy with it but I would appreciate if these videos were in a chronological, like, folder I guess or whatever - if I could access these from your home page Sorry for the iPad kid ask
