I love watching how other sewists have their rooms/space set up it gives me inspiration for doing things different in my room. Thanks for sharing. 😊

I totally agree! That's why I share my sewing practice. Do you have a dedicated space?

@@mysewingpractice yes I do. It’s in my spare room so it’s shared with my treadmill and a twin bed. When I seen your cart I knew I needed one of those. It would solve some of the storage issues I have in there. I will be getting on this week.

Hi Kathy! Enjoyed your video today. Always interesting to see how others do their sewing lives! Your shirt looks lovely. Great colour. I loved the little child’s jacket you shared last video, also. So cute and looks well made! Your iron is so fancy. I really enjoy ironing too. Everything! I find it so relaxing and it always feels so satisfying when everything is hung up looking crinkle-free and fabulous. My iron needs replacing. But for now, it does the job…mostly! Enjoy your week and have fun sewing in your lovely sewing space! 🤩

@@mysewingpractice Good morning, Kathy! Well, I’ve just recently made the Harper Cardigan by Sinclair Patterns, which turned out lovely. I’m about to stick together the Style Arc Logan Shacket, which I’ve made before and LOVE but needed a smaller size. I plan to make it in a lightweight dark denim. Should be beautiful!!! Thanks for asking!

I’m glad you’re Harper Kar turned out great. I think I’m starting to come around to liking the shacket. It sounds like you’re prepping for fall.

@@mysewingpractice yes, I’m at my in-laws for a few weeks in PA and they keep the a/c on pretty chilly so I brought a few projects with that in mind.

Love how your “mashed up” tee came out! I don’t budget for my sewing, but maybe I should because I tend to spend way more than I should. LOL 🇨🇦😀

Thanks Izzy. I think as fall approaches, my desires will out pace my resources! in other words, I will exceed the budget, perhaps.

I love how you do your budget planning. I'm going to start this next month but I will keep it paper and not digital. Paper will work better for me just incase my computer crash or something. Thanks for the idea.

I wish you a very best luck. Be patient with yourself. Budgeting takes a couple months to get the hang of it.

I’ve used the online program called YNAB (You Need A Budget) for years. Imports all you deposits, transactions and couldn’t be easier. There’s lots of free training. My sewing category needs to be increased as I usually overspend. 😉

I watch a KZbin channel call Frugal over Fifty, she always plug YNAB. That's awesome you have that all set up. I just use a spread sheet.
