Great showcase of methods. Jump stack is how we had to do it before we had the alignment tool. it wasn't really all that pretty but the amount of compression it gave from having to run flat plantations made it invaluable. At one point i worked out the math and the balance point for Salad was 5 Lettuce and 4 Tomato so I've been running 3 stacks (last one is the cake stack which I do 2 berry, 3 wheat)

Thanks for this. I still like the stairs method you showed first but it's nice to see how the other methods work!

I used the method for the staircase shaped design receantly, with 4-4 of every big plantation type, with a skill fruit tree on top, for decoration and skill fruit trees still having easy access. Materials for new best pal food on one side of the base, lettuce and wheat on the other one. Berries in the corner 'cause they fit.

I prefer the 45 degree slanting method. Floating, so the Pals can reach them all from underneath!

So the folks who do the slightly diagonal stack, to create a staircase, is that purely aesthetic? Is a straight vertical stack is still accessible and workable?

Vertical should be workable, but you run the risk of pals getting stuck more often

I had an issue with fully vertical stack back in the day, when some of the loot got stuck in the middle of the pile. It was a stack of over 10 though, which probably affected it. Also, with fully vertical stacks, pals still believe they can pathfind over them, but get stuck in them. With the staircase one, they just walk up the side.

I use the stairs so I can run up and down, so its just to be practical and i think it looks better

I thought stacking them perfectly vertical wars known to cause issues with pals, and personally I wouldn’t recommend the jump stacking method as it’s only really easy to do on kbm and on controller is quite difficult

when i try to do the bottom one with the first method i cant snap one to the side it just says all floors must be touching the ground

Everytime I've tried stacking plantations my pals always end up stuck inside them. Not worth the headache of having to remove and add pals constantly

@@stickupking1064 it takes a single button to remove the pal in your team... Don't use base pals to build the stack, they always get in the way.

Really zero need to do this i got 1 base that just has 4 wheat 4 berries 4 tomato and 4 lettuce 2 cows 2 chickens and it feeds all 4 of my bases eaaily plus makes hundreds of cakes a day
