I hope the rainbows hunt those scuds to extinction! I hate those little terrors!!🤬 yes Tara from Taras tank friends really plants her tanks very nice, and your tanks are fantastic too!, ive not kept Rainbows 🌈 yet.. but im sure i will at some portion of the long journey. Dwarf cichlids have me captured at the moment, always subject to change week to week😭😭😭 as an aquarium addict its easy to do! Great vid keith⭐️

The scuds don't stand a chance in a tank with rainbows. I haven't seen one since I added them. Yes, Tara's tanks got me pumped, I liked the way she has set her tanks up so you can move things about and maintain things. While I love the walstad method and how it provides success with feeding at the roots, it's not the easiest set up if you want to get your sleeves wet on a regular basis. I think Tara's tanks have a better aesthetic than mine and it's inspired me to have a play with mine instead of dirting them all.

Thanks mate. I'm hooked on the rainbows, I don't know where I'm going to keep them all. But they are great fish for planted tanks. Thanks for the mention before, I've been picking up subs all evening.

@@aquaticfanaticsuk love it mate, do i need fertilizer for the elodea densa
@aquaticfanaticsuk6 ай бұрын
@@bigfishlad4847 I've never found I need to fertilise elodea. If you get a cichlid pellet with a good protein content and ash, that should supply all the macronutrients you need. Keep an eye on your nitrates from time to time.

The Rosenevig has veins, thats the difference between that and the standard
@aquaticfanaticsuk6 ай бұрын
When I got it there must not have been fresh growth. The fresh growth has veins in it. I mistook it for magnesium deficiency in the video. But magnesium deficiency the colour is the opposite way around. The vein looks fine and the leaf looks pale
