I do too! Especially tough ones that don’t require too much upkeep.

Thanks for the lists on grasses. That’s always confusing to me.

It was for me too. Always good to have a cheat sheet!

I love the bubbling effect of your spray nozzle....would you be able to share the brand that is? It seemed so gentle with the water spray on your newly planted bed. Thanks!

Hi Donna! It’s the Dramm One Touch Rain Wand and I have one in each hose. It’s a great product and comes in many different colors.
Thanks for the link on the nozzle….will give it a try!

I just noticed the mesh along the bottom of your fence. Is it plastic mesh or chicken wire? I have the same style of fence and grass grows through from the neighbor’s yard. I’m curious about what you did and if it might work for me.
@heatherhereshegrows3 ай бұрын
Hi! It’s chicken wire I wove between the pickets and dug it into the soil years ago to prevent the rabbits from burrowing under and getting into the yard. I never got around to doing the whole fence so they inevitably found ways to get in.

I have two blue angel! Last year they stayed smallish and kind of dried up quickly. So this season I watered the heck out of them and they got bigger for sure but not the 3 ft high I was hoping. To be honest I did not fertilize them very much. Do you think that is it?
@heatherhereshegrows3 ай бұрын
They really need at least three years, maybe even more, to reach their full potential. Regular watering and a layer of compost every year really help them along. My friend with the enormous hostas I mention in the video does a balanced slow release fertilizer like Osmocote a few times a season.
